uipsdafir Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Up until now, Defeat has worked perfectly, but it no longer does. First of all, enemies no longer seem able to perform a knockdown on me. More importantly, if I surrender, the defeat dialogue is initiated and on submitting, I am stripped and beaten. But then nothing more happens, and I am stuck for a long time, before I can just walk away. I have no idea why this is happening, and I would be very glad if someone could help me. I also have some minor problems with the SexLab framework. First, it has begun to take a very long time between all the stages of animation, and secondly, SexLab is unresponsive to the player hotkeys for, e.g., realigning the actors, advancing animation stage, or ending the sequence.
spoonsinger Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Have you tried http://www.loverslab.com/topic/19941-defeat-v5b33fixed-805/?p=1148125? (just curious).
uipsdafir Posted April 22, 2015 Author Posted April 22, 2015 That seems promising, but I can't find any skse.ini file. Where is it supposed to be located?
uipsdafir Posted April 23, 2015 Author Posted April 23, 2015 There is no SKSE folder under Steam/Skyrim's Data folder. There is an SKSE folder in under MyGames/Skyrim, but there is no .ini-file in that folder, only .log-files.
spoonsinger Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 It's always an unconsidered possibilty you don't have SKSE installed. (Mind it is a requirement for SexLab - http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/150-skyrim-sexlab-sex-animation-framework-v159c-updated-oct-3rd/). Edit - Ignore that bit I should have read the message properly Anyway the SKSE.ini which should be in the afore mentioned data\SKSE directory should look something like :- [Display]iTintTextureResolution=2048[General]ClearInvalidRegistrations=0[Memory]DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768ScrapHeapSizeMB=256
TnTTnT Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Do you use MO? Probably SKSE folder reside in one mod that require SKSE. If you use MO, you can easily find skse.ini by click on Data tab -> expand SKSE => you should see skse.ini there. Right click -> Open/Execute should open it for edit.
uipsdafir Posted April 23, 2015 Author Posted April 23, 2015 This is weird. Yes, I do use MO. I did what you said and expanded SKSE, and every other expandable item, but I just can't find any skse.ini in any of them.
TnTTnT Posted April 24, 2015 Posted April 24, 2015 So it seem you really don't have skse.ini. Normally skse.ini didn't come with SKSE installation or mod distribution, you have to create it yourself. My recommendation is to create it yourself with content from spoonsinger.
uipsdafir Posted April 27, 2015 Author Posted April 27, 2015 Alright. I found a downloadable file on Nexus. But where should the .ini-file be put?
TnTTnT Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 Any data\SKSE folder, in your Steam Skyrim data folder/In you MO overwrite/In any of mods that contain SKSE folder. Anyway you like.
uipsdafir Posted April 28, 2015 Author Posted April 28, 2015 I tried it, and set the registration thing to 0, but sadly to no effect. The problem persists. I also keep trying to post a papyrus log from a game where I run up to an enemy and surrender, but my browser crashes every time I try to paste it into the spoiler box. The log is at around 63K kb, is it too big? I've been able to post papyrus logs before.
uipsdafir Posted May 5, 2015 Author Posted May 5, 2015 I've discovered something. Save games from after I escaped from my enslavement (Sanguine's Debauchery?) all have in common that defeat does not work as it should. Save games from before my enslavement work just fine. Does that make any sense? I escaped my enslavement by stealing the key, and the enslavement quest is gone, so it shouldn't be as if I'm still enslaved.
