I Had the Best Idea Ever

I have a huge Lara Croft fetish. I also love breast expansion/lactation. Unfortunately there's not a whole lot of content with both. That's when I thought about making it possible to play Tomb Raider Level Editor next generation games with a way to make Lara have bigger breasts/lactate/go nude. Why those games and not any of the newer ones? No real reason. So here's what would happen.

 

-User launches program

-Program launches TR4 exe

-Program also listens for keyboard events

-During certain events, such as when Lara picks up a relic, the user can press a button

-The hooker can then based on the button pressed take a modified TR4 level file (it's based off whatever level is currently loaded at button press) and swap them on disk. For example you'd have "orignal_level1.tr4", being swapped with "biggertits_level1.tr4", or "nude_lara1.tr4". and so on.

-The hooker saves player position or possibly other important data

-The hooker then forces the original TR4 to reload the modified level file

The only problem with the above is that the game takes a few seconds to load a level file, so it might be a little annoying if you accidentally pressed a key or something that causes this and have to wait a 1 - 10 seconds.

 

Button examples would "b" for increase bust (change to different bust mesh), "n" for nude (switch out current bust mesh size with nude version), "l" for lactate more (replace bust mesh texture with one that has a certain amount of lactation), etc.

 

Like I said though I don't know the TR4 file format used by the next generation or original level editor. It is possible to because there are editors out there that allow you to edit/change/view TR4 files. The problem though is that anything sexual in nature with Tomb Raider or Lara Croft is shunned and really looked down upon to the point that many fans consider it a "sin" lol.

Sure obvious TR fan not wanting sexual content of Lara Croft to exist, I believe you! Nah I'm just kidding around and know that's probably not the case. At least I hope so. *paranoia intensifies*

 

They're are utilities for TRLE that allow you to do things like edit/change/view TR4 files, the problem is that there not released with source code so no blatantly copying parts for my own uses. And it's not like I can ask the software creators because 1) I have no idea how to contact them 2) they wouldn't let me have their source code for what I want and 3) I don't even know if the people that wrote the software are even online anymore. Using those you can see that the Lara mesh is broken up into sections, with her chest/boobs area being one mesh. That one would be the one of most interest. Also other utilities exist that allow you to rip and insert textures into TR4 files, so that's not a stretch.

I think you might be confusing what I want with TRLE games (basically these -> http://trle.net/ with modern Tomb Raider games like Anniversary, Legend, Underworld, and the newest game. Completely different things as the levels are using a simple 10-ish years old game engine. Getting the exe to load the new level would be the hardest HOWEVER now that I think of it, it might just be easier and makes more sense to have the user save the game, press the button they want, then reload the save after the level has been swapped because the exe would load the level you want by itself.

 

Of course I'm busy being a lazy ass with other projects that I'm supposed to be working on, so in that respect you're probably correct.
