Questions regarding body type mods

Hello, I am pretty new into modding; and I'm trying to figure out how to use Body mods (like cbbe, unp, etc)

So, I don't really understand, how do these work? If I instal 2 of these, what will happen? Which one will show up? Will it crash? If I install of these?

 

I'm not sure which one to use, they all look pretty similiar, they have different proportions but what would happen if I had a mod which requires CBBE and I don't have CBBE? (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/15587/?)

 

I recall there was a thread explaining how to make beautiful women in skyrim but I can't seem to find it, so can you please help me? Which mods do you reccomend?

 

Also can anybody give me a short list of body type mods?

First, you need to chose body type, install it and install it's requirements. Then you need body textures. So, if you for example use UNP body, or UNP based body you will need UNP textures.
If you install 2 different bodies one will overwrite the other.
As for which body type to install it boils down to personal preference. My advice would be to go with either UNP or CBBE for start, simply because those 2 are most supported (textures, outfits, armors...).

And I will add that.... choosing a body is simply a matter of preference. What body style do you like? AND.... before you switch to a new body, have a look around and see what armors are available for it.

 

I think the 2 main ones are going to be CBBE and UNP (or UNPB). Not because there aren't other nice bodies out there, but because these few have the most armor support.

 

With CBBE you also have BodySlide so you can fine tune the body to your liking and then also make many armors fit exactly (armors that are bodyslide capable).

My understanding is that the version of Bodyslide for UNP has come a long way as well, but I haven't personally used it since it was very new.

 

Also look at body textures. Textures are basically what decides the appearance of nipples, muscle structure, whether or not there is pubic hair, scars, etc. 

 

So you look around at all of this stuff and THEN decide how you'd like to proceed in terms of making the switch to a new body type.

 

It's simply a matter of what you like. So look around... take your time... and have FUN!

I noticed there are plenty of threads about Bodyslide even here; Is it easy to use? If so is there a tutorial somewhere? Thanks a lot
