Gnarl Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Hi guys, I could need some help. I get a massive amount of CTDs. Papyrus.0.log
Anatriax Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 I know I keep referring people to this guide, but it really is one of the best guides out there to help stabilize your game. Check out the Speed and Stability Guide for ENB on the Nexus. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50214/ And Project Stabilityhttp://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32363/? The reason I suggest these is because not all CTD's are caused by papyrus errors. A lot can be, yes, but you'll also CTD if you run out of memory, or if there are mod conflicts, or even if you have some bad .ini edits. If you're like me, and a lot of people are, you like to experiment with mods. Mods can leave remnants of scripts in your save, even if you never really played with them. Say... you only had the mod active for 5 minutes, and didn't test the full funtionality of the mod, just the primary feature that attracted it to you... then you saved. Ooops. Now there are scripts left over in your save! Following the first guide's section on bug fixing can help reduce problems with this. Papyrus Util is an amazing save cleaner. NOTE: There is no such thing as a totally clean save, unless you start from the beginning of the game with no mods active. Just a quick glance at your log, though... the bug fixing/memory management portion of this guide may help you quite a bit.
yatol Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 his skyrim is a mess that's all most of those errors that's probably mod version 1.02 installed with loose files, and mod version 1.06 installed with bsa (and old files don't work with new esp) if he use mo it's easy to fix, you just unpack the bsa into folder modnamebsa, load it after folder modname, and check if that fix the mess but that only mean the mod are working when the papyrus is clean, when you coc qasmoke (some mess can get in the save, you don't test on a save) you can ctd for other reasons, ram full, bad nif, bad texture, bad script... and there's no popup saying skyrim.exe crash because blabla blabla fixing ctd, that's just luck

To help clean up that mess some. If he's still getting CTD's after following those guides, it will be much easier for us to diagnose what the problems are.
DomDate Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 most of those errors that's probably mod version 1.02 installed with loose files, and mod version 1.06 installed with bsa (and old files don't work with new esp) Pardon me, I'm always trying to learn a little more... so a question: Most of the first half of his Papyrus log cites unavailable references. Is this what you are using as indicators of version incomparability? (I'm not parsing the file, so I may have missed something)
Gnarl Posted April 12, 2015 Author Posted April 12, 2015 There is the load-order LoadOrder_Skyrim_2015-04-12T08-20-59.txt
Anatriax Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Did you go through the Speed and Stability Guide, and follow all of the steps?
Nasseliten Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Theres alot of mods I don't know there but... Get rid of Dance of Death it's outdated and not supported, use Violenz instead http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56980/? I'd try remove Falskaar also to see if it helps.
Anatriax Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 I've said it a couple of times. The Speed and Stability Guide for ENB will help you immensely. Mostly because Wrye Bash is an amazing tool, and clearing your saves of unneeded scripts will help reduce CTD's, too. The guide walks you through this.Prior to using the guide I would CTD every 10-15 minutes. No questions asked. Now, I can play for hours with no problems at all. It REALLY will help you. A LOT!
Gnarl Posted April 12, 2015 Author Posted April 12, 2015 I already have used this guide in the past. Still get ctds after 30mins -1h. I am considering to reinstall Skyrim + Mods.
Anatriax Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 If you had followed the guide I would see a bashed patch in your load order. It's not there. I suggest you follow the guide again. Possibly with a clean install using Mod Organizer. That bashed patch is pretty important to stability, though. It consolidates a lot of things in mods into one patch, so that the information isn't all over, it's only coming from one place. Like leveled lists and form edits. Lots of stuff. You also have a lot of .esp files loading before .esm files. That could be a problem, too.
DomDate Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 You also have a lot of .esp files loading before .esm files. That could be a problem, too. I could be wrong, but my understanding is that Skyrim loads ESMs first regardless. It is an internal tag that determines if a file is an ESM or ESP, not the extension. So those files are likely ESMs with ESP extensions. (If they are in fact loaded first - I deleted his file and don't want to re-download to confirm which ESPs are in fact traditionally ESMs).
Anatriax Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 I just know that as a general rule, LOOT will load .esp files after .esm files. This is another thing that tells me he hasn't followed the guide.

ElderScrollMaster, or ElderScrollPlugin, it make no difference tamriel reload, 3dnpc, wet&cold... need skyrim.esm as master if you load one of those mods above skyrim.esm, game will crash so that esp is an esp that can't be put under other esp, an esm take wet&cold, that esp have a lot of optionals esp if someone load one of those optionals esp before it, he will ctd if you make that esp an esm, it can't happen while i am at it, here's a really stupid reason for ctd, the save is the last esp and some download things like that http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/30969/?tab=2&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D30969&pUp=1 a "clean" save... some edits of their load order aren't in that save, so they will ctd, it's just a matter of time
Gnarl Posted April 13, 2015 Author Posted April 13, 2015 LOOT sorted these esps before some esm, because they are marked as esm. I dont know why. I could fix most of the CTDs, I just get sometimes CTDs with SexLab Aroused, but this is a common problem with this mod.
