Screen resolution = stuttering

So I have been searching and searching, but unfortunately google tells me "I got nuthin" so I turn to you guys :) Alrighty, when I set my monitor's resolution size to the actual appropriate size for it, skyrim becomes slow and laggy, drops down to like 15fps. But if I put it at 900 by 1600 it pops between 50fps and 30. Which is a good thing. The problem is, I also stutter, constantly, its crazy annoying. Is there any way to stop that? Other than adjusting the memory amount, as I have tried that as well, putting it quite a bit to very little and still, the stutter.

Is it absolutely necessary to use the actual size of your monitor screen?

Thank you for any help :)

you look at something, there's 1 go to render, you have 1.5 go of ram, no problem

you turn around, game have to load 1 go of new textures

it load the first 500 mo, then unload things that are no longer on screen to load new textures

if you have 2 go to render with only 1.5 go of ram, don't know what the game does

it probably load the textures from the ram, that is much slower

that's your problem, there's too much to load

download texture optimiser, and the other one, smco (it found some uncompressed a8something textures, don't know if textures optimiser miss them or if it's because of its settings)

or try more performance friendly mods

or reduce your settings
