banished1 Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Hey all. I was wondering if this problem had an easy fix. I'm running lovers with pk with no problems until, I ran away from some joberg stalkers by going out into another part of the city. Once the area loaded, a popup with the message 'Stalkers have been cleared' came up. Everything seemed fine until I tried to reenter the market, then my frame rate takes a very harsh dive to about one frame every 2 seconds. Is there a fix for this short of reloading a previous save?
Nepro Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Are you using LoversStupidNpcs? Small spaces with crowded NPCs cause serious drop in FPS

gregathit Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 While the below load order change won't fix your slowdown issue it will make sure lovers functions correctly: all other esm/esp files LoversFSE.esp LoversRaperS.esp LoversJoburg.esp LoversJoburgNoDelay.esp Lovers with PK.esp LoversOblivionXP.esp LoversEscapeRapeVPlayer.esp LoversTrueCrime.esp LoversCreature.esp LoversIdleAnimsPriority.esp LoversAnimObjectsPriority.esp As for the slowdown: Disable LoversJoburg.esp and LoversJoburgNoDelay.esp, start your game and load your latest save. Then hit escape and select a new save (it would be best to do this somewhere in doors). Exit oblivion. Enable the two plugins again and restart oblivion once again and select the new save that you made. Go outside and back to the waterfront to see if you have any improvement. The waterfront has always been a FPS killer and mods like Crowded Cities 15.esp and Crowded Roads Advanced.esp add to the strain along with any texture packs you may have installed. How much of a FPS killer depends completely on your rig.
banished1 Posted March 12, 2012 Author Posted March 12, 2012 Ah. Thanks for the help. I had tried making a fresh save with joberg and no delay inactive. Unfortunately it didn't work, even with both esp removed completely from the list I had the framerate issue when I used that save. My best guess is something in that save in now corrupted. The funny part is the frame loss happens at the IC market, but the waterfront is fine. I have a good framerate as I dodge pirates while running to my house. Fortunately I do have an earlier save I can return to. I only lose an hour of running around. I really do appreciate the advice on my load order. I'll give it a shot. Once more. Thanks for helping!
gregathit Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Anytime. As to the Market, at certain times with mods like Crowded Cities 15.esp or even vanilla you will get slow downs. The market has a ton of npc's that all have ai packages. They go stand in their shops, they go eat at the bar/inn deals and then they go home. The slow down is caused because they all do it at the same time. Then couple this with the changing of the guards and you can easily have 40-60 NPC's going somewhere. That will take its toll on any setup. Edit: Sorry for not reading your OP close enough to see that you were talking about the market and not the waterfront
banished1 Posted March 13, 2012 Author Posted March 13, 2012 No worries about that. Since a lot of posts here are about waterfront issues, its a pretty easy assumption to reach. Also, lovers is running just a little more smoothly now, so thanks for the advice. Thanks for taking the time to help out.

llab Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 From my personal experience there are a few mods that have major impact on town fps. One is crowded cities, the other sadly is lovers bitch.
