Hello everybody.

first of all, i want to apology for my awful english :)

So, i found a beautifull armor on a site but this one is for CBBE with bodyslide or UN7B (i assume it's sevenbase). Unfortunately, i have an UNP Body so, I installed the CBBE version (with body slide) anyway and it works pretty well except it gives my character HUGE boobs (and i don't like that).

And, i decided to give a try to Bodyslide :

Open bodyslide

Choose a group (unassigned)

modify sliders

save my preset

Batch build for armors

and, start the game to see the result...

Armors :

Hmm... it seems that i have a problem with textures... but, i'd like to check in the Racemenu...

So... let's modify Breat's sliders

Default settings for my char :

Minimum size :

Maximum size (it's horrid !! you've been warned :)) :

In fact, the preset seems fine but the problem is that the armor texture isnt covering the body in some places like breast and but :

And, my nightmare begins... i think i need to adapt these armors in Outfit Studio but i really dont figure how to do it -_-

I checked some tutorials but they're all about convert "vanilla to cbbe" or "with cbbe"... not for UNP.

I don't know what to choose when creating a new project :

Use a template ?

Use an existing slider set ?

I don't know if i need to load from a .nif or and .obj file

I tried to "play" with it and i managed to adapt textures... but then what ? how to apply these settings in game ? I really want to learn how to do it because i have some nice armors that i want to convert into an UNP body. Maybe someone can give me a nice link for UNP or explain to me what i did wrong cause i'm kinda lost :)

Here the file i'm working with :

CBBE > CBBE.7z

UN7B > UN7B.7z

I hope that i'm posting this in the right section and again, sorry for my "english"

You can't simply use UNP textures on a CBBE armor that exposes skin. Even if you select a "looks like UNP" preset in BodySlide, if the armor is CBBE, it is CBBE and will not work with your textures.

To convert it for Unified UNP, so you can use the morphs and your UNP textures, you will need Outfit Studio as you said.

The tutorials work for UNP and Unified UNP as well. I wrote that in the first 2 lines of them.

If an armor is CBBE BodySlide compatible, you can load its project into Outfit Studio, load the Unified UNP reference body in, conform all sliders, copy the weights and save a new project. This is described in my "CBBE to CBBE BodySlide" tutorial, which describes the same steps necessary for "CBBE to Unified UNP".

thanks for the quick reply, so, i'll going to test this in outfit studio... and see the results

(sorry if it seems noobish but i really don't want to do something wrong)

let's go outfit studio ! :)

ok, so, i'm here in outfit studio :

i imported the outfit (cuirass_1.nif)  then i imported in it my body skeleton (femalebody_1.nif) then i "brushed" the mesh... and now ?

i'm following the Unofficial Bodyslide 2/outfit Studio tutorials, the Guide 3... and i'm lost at step 4 -_-

but i'm learning :)

Instead of loading your femalebody_1.nif as a reference, try loading "Unified UNP" as a reference instead (and reload the outfit in its CBBE shape).

You will then have a bunch of sliders to the right. From there on, follow this tutorial: http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?showtopic=1283893 (just use "Unified UNP" instead of "CBBE Body").

Once you have made a Unified UNP conversion, you can go into BodySlide and build your outfit in the shape you want (for example the standard UNP).

OK, i don't know what i've done but it worked... -_-

i simply followed this video >>

Chose Use a template > Convert CBBE to UNP/7B/DG...

Browse my cuirass_1.nif

Finish

It loaded with some errors (NiTriStrips instead of NiTriShapes) but i'll learn later how to change it in NifSkope

...

Then load my reference > Unified UNP

Added a new Zapslider (don't know what it is -_-)

Then saved and...

i still have too much boobs but no more texture probs... but i really don't know how i managed it to work

[EDIT] hmm... it seems that i used the UN7B version in game so... all i've done have been useless... let's try again, delete all, reinstall bodyslide and start over :)

it's complicated but fortunately there's good tools... only bad brains like mine :D

ok, i tried again, it's better but still have some problems :

So, what i did :

- Installed the CBBE armor version in Mod Organizer

- Installed (again) Bodyslide 2 and Outfit Studio in MO

- Opened Bodyslide then Outfit Studio

then, followed the CBBE to CBBE Bodyslide tutorial and previous posts instructions and i managed to create and Outfit/body and created a preset

post-747554-0-16402900-1428372758_thumb.png

then i batched build for armors concerned, made all changes needed into MO (patches, fnis, etc.) and, in game, i obtained this :

that's not to bad but now, i don't know what to modify and where to get rid of textures probs (on arms and on breasts) and how to "keep" the naked body shape when i'm wearing my armor

Maybe one day, i will achieve this :)
