janoorn Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Hey, i tried to clean up my skyrim install by merging the mods, that just add armor to the game with TES5Edit now when i try to start up skyrim i get CTD before being able to load or create a game Papyrus log say this: [04/03/2015 - 06:58:46PM] Papyrus log opened (PC) [04/03/2015 - 06:58:46PM] Update budget: 1.200000ms (Extra tasklet budget: 1.200000ms, Load screen budget: 500.000000ms) [04/03/2015 - 06:58:46PM] Memory page: 128 (min) 512 (max) 76800 (max total) [04/03/2015 - 06:59:12PM] Cannot open store for class "follower3dnpc", missing file? [04/03/2015 - 06:59:13PM] Cannot open store for class "SAM_QuestScript", missing file? [04/03/2015 - 06:59:13PM] ERROR: Unable to bind script JaxonzDateTimeUtil to JaxonzNamedSaveQuest (7C000D62) because their base types do not match [04/03/2015 - 06:59:13PM] ERROR: Unable to bind script JaxonzStringUtil to JaxonzNamedSaveQuest (7C000D62) because their base types do not match [04/03/2015 - 06:59:19PM] VM is freezing... [04/03/2015 - 06:59:19PM] VM is frozen if i disable Jaxonz Named save, the 2 ERROR go away, but still CTD im 100% sure there are no masters missing the weird thing imo is, that follower3dnpc is from the mod "3d npcs" (or something) which im sure i have not installed (dont know where the SAM thingy is from but im sure its also from another mod i havent installed) any idea how to make the merged esp work or should i start over? edit: i have just tried it with the un-merged esps activated and now it works like a charm =( (still the same errors in the papyrus log, so it seems that they are not the reason)
Mister X Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 3dnpc is just the (weird) shortage of Interesting NPCs SAM is a male body replacer and an alternative to SOS. Maybe it's also just a shortage for another mod idk, look in your list for a mod that possibly could have that acronym. And the CTD could happen, because Skyrim tries to load to much textures at once. If you leave all the armor mod esps as independent files it tries to load one package after another. Though if you merge the esps it tries to load all the armors you've installed at the same time, which then is the same problem as some people have with too high quality settings and a failed load in the wilderness -> too much data (by many high quality textures) is CTD. So to clean up your modlist I'd suggest to just merge some mods with less textures, eg some bugfixes, or the jaxonz mods (if you don't use utilities) instead of your armor loading esps.
janoorn Posted April 3, 2015 Author Posted April 3, 2015 ahh okay didnt know that there could be ctd if too much textures at once are loaded thx
