j.smith42 Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 This is something I have been able to replicate over and over, and since it seems to affect two different mods, I'm posting this here. For reasons I am unclear about, when I am using two specific mods, Sexout sex assault, and Tryout, the PC undresses perfectly fine, and everything seems to be working fine according to Sexout but before the animation triggers, there is a loading screen as if I'm being teleported somewhere, and poof CTD. Thing is, it's only those two mods, and while I have not been able to replicate the sex assault CTD, It's something that I did not see in a previous version of either. Can anyone explain what is trying to happen? I have tested sexout using sexout sexkey as well as another dialogue based Sexout mod I believe is either sexout soliciting or sexout sex. Here's my load order, in convenient TXT format, so if anyone can see a conflict that would be causing this, I'd be grateful since I'm confused why I'm even getting the loading screen. prideslayer Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Your NX and/or NVSE is out of date. I forget which, probably NX.
j.smith42 Posted March 25, 2015 Author Posted March 25, 2015 huh, I thought I was using NX 16, I'll check both and get back to you. Also, is there a version of NVSE newer than the one posted on the NVSE site? I downloaded one from here at loverslab, but it was about four months old.
prideslayer Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 There is. I suspect you're using spunk. If so, you need to read the install instructions in the spunk thread.
j.smith42 Posted March 25, 2015 Author Posted March 25, 2015 absolutely right, I think though, that I've found the problem. I'm using NMM and I installed NX through it. I'm going to reinstall NX and let you know what happens

j.smith42 Posted March 26, 2015 Author Posted March 26, 2015 No, you're wrong, I did install the correct version of NX because when I didn't spunk closed the game, telling me exactly why it was. These CTD's had nothing to do with spunk, it was entirely because I installed everything through Nexus Mod Manager. When I checked to see if I had downloaded the correct version, I found your version of FOMM which I dl'ed and installed. Once I installed NX, plus a few other stability fixes, NVSR, NVAC, the animations began, but did not play. That led me to install everything Sexout through your version of FOMM, when I did, as if my magic, everything worked. So you can change the NX page to read that yes, NMM does not install all of the DLLs needed to run the current version of Sexout. Thanks for helping me figure out what was wrong,
prideslayer Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 I believe NMM has that problem with a bunch of things, not just NX. When I first started working on FOMM there was code in it to prevent some file types (like DLLs and EXEs) from being installed, and NMM is based on FOMM. However NMM *does* install those types of files -- for example it installs bodyslide (some EXEs) just fine for Skyrim so there must be more to the story. In any case, if you haven't left something out, I'm not "wrong". You said this: Also, is there a version of NVSE newer than the one posted on the NVSE site? I downloaded one from here at loverslab, but it was about four months old. Installing the one from here OR the one from the official site is wrong. Spunk will not work with either of those no matter if you install them manually, with FOMM, or with NMM. If it's all working, it's because you did at last follow the spunk directions and downloaded the correct version of NVSE listed there -- which may have worked fine with NMM, though I've never tested.
