Creating Armor/Clothing for Skyrim

Okay I've been searching around the internet for a tutorial on creating armor from scratch for Skyrim. Except I haven't been able to find anything, the best I could come across was Cherry's tutorial however it seems that tutorial is more useful for editing armors.

 

I want to create an set armor from scratch, although it would be for Cherry's body. So if possible could someone redirect me to a tutorial that explains how to create armor?

 

I have 3DS Max, Blender etc... But no clue as to how to create something.

Your not likely to find any in depth tutorials for making armor for skyrim as the game is far too new. Search instead for stuff for new vegas, fallout 3 or oblivion. There will be some differences like skeletons and such but many of the other things are going to be the same. I doubt many tutorials will be out for likely another 1-6 months. Perhaps sooner but I doubt it.

Oh thank you so much! The New Vegas one seems the best one to go to for 3DS Max.

I really want to contribute something instead of just being a leecher, time to learn now.

 

I mean I know how to convert existing armor to a body, I just don't know how to create one from scratch, but having a quick look I think I know which direction to take. My first armor my just be a nipple ring
