RathAzu Posted March 17, 2015 Posted March 17, 2015 You can't. That's one of the few statistics that you can't see when you're at Auction - which makes a certain degree of sense, I guess, since you're just looking at them. Pride is another one that you can't tell, I believe. .

You can bump up retarded slaves' intelligence by one or two by making her your accountant (and training her in the same, I think). Honestly though I usually just get her to D-rank and pawn her off if she's less than blue-smart. The "mindbreaking" mechanic confuses a lot of new players because it's almost entirely undocumented. IIRC the formula is nature + temperament + pride, and if it goes below 3 she breaks. So just don't drive down her pride too fast until the other two raise a little. Alternatively, hggmod has an option to turn off mindbreaking completely.

The combat isn't as shallow as you'd expect from this type of game either.

I always got too attached to my slave in a game like this... or is there someway to get money without selling your slave???and you can only have 1 active slave at a time.

Nope, selling slaves is pretty much the only way you can survive. OldHuntsman made it that way intentionally - it's just grimdark on top of grimdark. Get attached to a slave? That's too bad. Sell her or lose. Oops, mindbroke your slave by accident? May as well take her to the butcher, she's useless now. And so on. You're not a hero. You're a slaver. You're evil. :3

If you dont mind russian language I can suggest another interesting project similar to jack-o-nine tails called "My Cute Slave" http://mycuteslave.blogspot.com/p/download.html?zx=2fa9845fc9afc659 It actualy has storyline, random events when visiting different places and you can train you slave to earn money with inventor\singer\dancer\housekeeper training that give steady small income in opposite on one large sum for selling. Product aint finished, but all that features add nice ammount of re-prayability. And it's 1Gb of raw images Sadly, autor decided to drop this genre.
