Swiggity1234 Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 I wanted to convert the China Dress of this mod : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/63635/?tab=1&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fmoddescription%2F%3Fid%3D63635%26preview%3D&pUp=1 from UNP to Sevenbase. It comes with various textures, but one mesh. I converted the mesh, but ingame when I equip any version (green, blue, standard, etc) It always shows the same texture. How can I prevent that from happening?

How can I prevent that from happening? think its that if you got 1 armor mesh and 3 texture colors for that and want all colors in game then you need make 3 meshes for that armor (ChinaArmor Blue,ChinaRamor Red etc..) and need add thos 3 armor to game in CK everyone with own texture i only know this 1 way maybe some1 oter got better answer sry for bad english
rangedphoenix Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 If it works the way I'm guessing that it does, you will need to use a couple of features in the creation kit to fix this. First of all, you will need a texture set entry in the creation kit for each of the armor sets. Then, when you create the armor addon entry, you have a place where you can add the "override" texture set. If I remember correctly, it is at the same place where you select the mesh's file path. Once this is done, you just use the different armor addon entries to make the actual armor entries. After that, it should work fine.
Swiggity1234 Posted March 14, 2015 Author Posted March 14, 2015 Okay, thank you guys, I guess I have to make multiple meshes then ^^
rangedphoenix Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 No, you only need one mesh if you do it the way i told you about.
