Install Skyrim INI Manager. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58100/?

In display disable Anti aliasing and anisotropic filtering

Install ENB's lastest wrapper version. http://enbdev.com/index_en.html

Open Enblocal

in [Global] make sure the graphics are off. Should be: UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=true

In [Limiter] put FPSLimit=50.0

Your FPS should be over 60 but you don't want them that high messes with graphics and HDT.

To keep your FPS consistent without many drops

Install and follow instructions for Grass on steroids: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/33582/?

You can use Skyrim INI Manager if you don't understand how to tweak your INI setting safely.

Install Vanilla Reduced Textures: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/14504/?

You can use whatever HD high res textures you want over this since it's a bsa and wont overwrite them. You can use 4k textures on armors and such and not feel a performance hit since everything around you will be using the reduced textures.

Optimizer Textures: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12801/?

Use medium setting only. This is for when you install a bunch of High res textures and your game actually takes a performance hit. Also good for making mip maps for all of the textures in your game.

Many ways to get higher fps the 2 best ways are:

1. Buy a better computer (that is expensive and people want cheap way so..)

2. Mod skyrim correctly can save you a headache and alot of ctding, fps boost etc...

Guy above me has some interesting ones and ill add to it.

A modding guide http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56894/?(Nexusmods, i know doesnt like links posted of loverslab and emm... not sure if loverslab minds the inverse so delete or edit this if it is against rules of the site) these are the fundamentals of modding so beginner lvl but its best to work way from scratch for modding and even with ull need experiance in the field, before u get real feel how to mod skyrim. Its a touchy game and doesnt like being played with, just play with it like your 1 mod away from blowing up skyrim as u most likely are.

A mod managing program that keeps your original skyrim folder clean http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/1334/?, i use this personally instead of nexus mod manager aka NMM.

use Loot to organise mods as that is good one and i feel that its better then boss, uhh yea thats the basics of getting a good moding of skyrim going.

Now ofc theres the case of how many mods ur using. What are they, tetxures, overhauls, meshs of which can take up alot of fps too 0 fps, also got enb that eats alot of fps, depth of field, antialiasing. God the variables to have to consider to tell u how to properly mod ur skyrim, to get a fps boost is endless. Def considering i dont know what ur using, so thats best i can do mate gl hf!!
