Kuni Osaku Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Hello people. I have one problem with some race mods. I usually use NMM for install the majority of mods (Except some mods that the program no recognize well) And all work well. After this, sometimes when I install one Race Mod, and in the game I finalized of create the PJ. The self game advise me the next: "PlayerVampireQuestScript.pex" Can´t work correctly, and mention the same for: "companionhousekeepingscript.pex" Could anyone explain me or comment the possible cause of these error? Another cuestión is: Some Race Mods that I see, contain the next extructure or similar : meshes scripts textures "Name of mod. esp, or .esm" Race compatibility.esm The cuestión is: If I install one of these tipe of Race mod, and I want Install another Race mod (With the same estructure) enter in conflict among themselves?. Coment this for: I supose that the second mod replace the same or some archives containing in the firts Race Mod used. Last cuestión: I see some Race mods with one estructure more simple and others with the extructure coment in the previous question. How many racial mods of these two types can be installed at the same time, without overwriting among themselves?
Akzyra Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 Sorry cant help you with the error. Why not post the races you use? The "Race compatibility.esm" can be overwritten by other race mods, but there are two different versions of this file from different authors.Best would be to always use the newest one (which is from TMPhoenix and most Races use), but READ the mod info and install requirements. I know Succubus Race uses the other one. And there could be problems when using 2 races using the 2 different compatibility mods.As for the assets for the races: - The structure of the files is set up by the author. Some are using their own textures and stuff. - Assets should not conflict between races if they are created right. Limit: Just the usual 250 mods limit. And what your hardware can load. But why use more than one race at a time? You should not switch midgame anyways.
WarsunGames Posted March 9, 2015 Posted March 9, 2015 WIsh i could help but even I am having issues with that specific problem.
BeamerMiasma Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 A race mod should never include Race compatibility.esm. If it does it's probably a good indication that it would be better for your stability not to install it Like Akzyra said there are multiple versions of this mod, and you should make sure you always have the latest version installed. If it is included in the race mod, you run the risk of having the wrong version of Race compatibility. So only install race mods that are compatible with the version of Race compatibility that you want to use and list it as a requirement for installation. It's like with armor mods, where you just have to accept that some are not available for the body mod you are using. Likewise, some races (especially old, no longer supported race mods) may not be available for the Race compatibility mod you are using. I use TMPhoenix's race compatibility and I have no problem with multiple custom races, I currently have about half a dozen of them installed and they all work fine together, because they are all based on TMPhoenix's version of race compatibility.
