since I installed new vegas I have been having problems with the resolution of my screenshots, they are saving as 640x480 even my oblivion screens are saving in this size now.

 

how do I reset oblivion and fallout to save screenshots at 1024x768 again?

Try to change the resolution settings to 640x480 and then switch back to 1024x768 :>
