wr1 Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Hey all, I am trying to compile a FNIS patch for a new set of mods using Mod Organizer. I get the following error: Create Creature Behaviors ...Reading SexLabCreature V1.59c ...ERROR(53): Could not find file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\data\meshes\actors\canine\behaviors\dogbehavior.hkx'. Does this mean that I am missing a mod or some files that go with creatures? Would the game be safe to run even with this error? I have already added Creatureframework.esm and Mighty Beasts - Werewolf.esm, and ZazAnimation Pack. Do I need to install More Nasty Critters or something like that, for the FNIS to compile correctly? Thanks so much for any thoughts!
wr1 Posted March 2, 2015 Author Posted March 2, 2015 OK, here we go. I just installed More Nasty Critters, as well as Nude Creatures, to see if it made a difference. I got the exact same error as posted above. So, I guess it's not a More Nasty Critters issue...but what could be causing it? If I reinstall SexLab, will that mess up other profiles I currently have that are working properly? Thanks for help with newb questions! -WR
wr1 Posted March 2, 2015 Author Posted March 2, 2015 I believe that I did. I have another game ongoing that has a few mods including Seeing Yellow, Defeat, and the stuff that relies on, and my character has gotten molested by critters in that game. Would reinstalling FNIS make sense? Would that mess up anything that currently works?

wr1 Posted March 2, 2015 Author Posted March 2, 2015 Thanks for confirming it might be a MO bug. In terms of installing FNIS I carefully followed the GamerPoets install guide, and did not have this problem with a different profile I have been using in MO. What would you suggest that I do at this stage? Attempt to reinstall FNIS? Thanks for your thoughts!

I'm not using any Mod Manager, and I don't want to give advice on something I'm not using myself.
wr1 Posted March 3, 2015 Author Posted March 3, 2015 One thought did occur to me. Could it have to do with admin privileges and or access to files? Is there a way that I can set my Skyrim folder to allow full access? In general, would I accidentally cause any further problems by reinstalling FNIS, or is that usually a pretty safe procedure? Thanks for any thoughts!
fore Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 It looks like privileges, but it IS MO, trust me. I have analyzed this bug, and even verified with modified FNIS versions and helpful users. There are conditions where MO's virtual file (and not the path that is shown) will first return true when FNIS checks the existence, or reads the contents of a directory. And in the next step, when FNIS wants something to do with this file, either delete the file, or read the file's parameters, will refuse to do so. But apparently this bug goes away when FNIS is in the "correct" way. Somewhere like "last in some list". But more I don't know. Actually I won't touch MO. I'm rather pissed about all that. This bug exists like one and a half year. I have offered to help finding it on several occasions. But I don't see any true reaction from tannin's side.
wr1 Posted March 3, 2015 Author Posted March 3, 2015 Interesting. Now that you have mentioned that this issue has existed for a year and a half, I looked up some other threads and saw posts about it going back to 2013. I'm still not sure what to do, but will try asking on the Mod Organizer thread. Thanks for your thoughts!
seedofchaoz Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 i got the same problem with you too..i fix the problem with move FNIS mod set under unmanaged addons (dawnguard,heartfire,dragonborn,HighResTexture,etc...) in MO left pannel.hope it help!
wr1 Posted March 3, 2015 Author Posted March 3, 2015 Do you mean moving the FNIS patch that is created when you run the generate FNIS executable under unmanaged addons on the left hand side? Or is there something you do before generating the FNIS patch? Thanks for the clarification!
DarkpPatinumMOD Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 I have this same issue has anyone managed to solve it yet
