[Request] Help/Advice for updating CBBE HDT weights

I'm trying to use Bodyslide to update the weights of some outfits so nipple rings don't move relative to the body, but with limited success.

 

I've managed to successfully change the weight a set of rings, by loading the outfit into Bodyslide -> load CBBE HDT body reference -> copy bone weights -> export current, but using that method on an outfit with a body included makes the body unresponsive to sliders, and I don't know why.

 

Do I have to create a whole new project (which I never got the hang of), or is there an easier way to update the weights?
