Submit and progression not going past step 1

I have recently tried using Sexlab Submite + Devious Device Progression.  Just two days ago I made sure everything was installed up to date.  The mod seems to work fine all the way until I am raped and tied up in the first stage.  At this point I am able to look around while tied up, but there doesn't seem to be a way to escape.  No prompts appear and buttons do nothing.  Even when it says my state "may have attracted attention," nothing happens to me.  Other mods I'm using (Sexlab related) are Devious Devices for the Masses, Devioiusly Cursed Loot, Deviously Helpless, and Skooma Whore.  None of these should affect it.  Is this a known flaw or is there anything I need to submit to help find the problem?  LOOT affirmed my load order.
