ks719008 Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Hellow did anyone use this mod here?After I use this mod and Started a new round.I up to level 9 and got the letter from the jarl of falkreath.Ya. I done his first mission and then he did not give me more missionsAlso cant get mission from his Steward.So I can't get the land to build my house...I have post message to the mod place.But it seems no one check them....Help Please.And sorry for my bad English.
crudo Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 Not sure what is causing the problem but Skyrim Unbound should have nothing to do with the Jarl of Falkreath/buying land quests. Skyrim Unbound is an alternative start.
4onen Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 It sounds like you aren't doing the "thane" portion properly. To get the land, you need to be thane of Falkreath. He'll only give you that honor if you help his people. Do quests for people in Falkreath and he'll give you thaneship. This has nothing to do with Skyrim Unbound.
crudo Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Not quite right, 4onen. You can get the land and build a Hearthfire home without being Thane. But you are right, you will need to do one or two tasks for the Jarl before you can buy the land. Then if you help his people he will make you his Thane and grant you a Housecarl. If you are low level the first mission is usually getting some Black Briar Mead from Riften. The second mission (sometimes first depending on character level) is to clear out a group of bandits somewhere in his hold, like Bilegulch Mine.

I still can't get the rest mission
Ashra XIII Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Y'know that's weird, I've never had the Jarl of Falkreath send me after any mead. I always get the letter at level 10 from my recollection, and when I show up the first thing he's always done is send me after bandits that he had dealings with but no longer tolerates to be alive. I go and take care of the bandits, and boom I get the ability to buy the Hearthfire home. I still have to do more to become Thane if I want to, but I still don't think I've ever seen a mead-gathering quest.
