basuka99 Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 I was wondering if someone make a Mod that makes high elf looks like Nord. Is that mod has been created ? or u have tips perhaps ? Sorry for my bad English language
gvman3670 Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 You can add Nord features to elves and/or elven features to Nords if you want. Just Race Menu or Enhanced Character Edit. There's a mod on Nexus called Ethereal Elven Overhaul that makes them look better, too.

xGHoSTx Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 i agree, 'bout the only reason i personally dont play ANY vanilla elf races is cuz theyre stupidly boney and just look fugly...
orcking12 Posted February 18, 2015 Posted February 18, 2015 You can make Elves look good (All Elves with a few simple mods). Unfortunately you can only use apachi's hair on them, which is nice, but is not as good as SG's Hair pack. So First off you will need: 1. Enhanced Character: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/12951/? (Better than RaceMenu imo) You don't want both of them at once either 2. XP32 Max Skeleton Extended: http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/676-xp32-maximum-skeleton-extended/ 3. CBBE: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/2666/? The Reason you want this instead of any other body is simply because of bodyslide. Bodyslide is very simple and will allow you to customize the body to what every you want. FYI when in body slide you can use Negative values you just have to enter them. Then with CBBE outfit studio you can simply and easily retool any outfit to fit your new body. 4. Fair Skin Complexion: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51602/? The CBBE version obviously great great textures. 5. Apachi's Hair: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/10168/? 6. All Eyes for Non-Beast Races: You can find this on Steam this make sure your Elves Eyes are not FUGLY. 7. Player Size Adjuster: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/32155/? I like this since you can set the size of your player compared to others. I like small elves Here's some pics: The body is custom with Body Slide. Here are some pics: (Custom BodySlide Body) She's a Wood-Elf

orcking12 Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Yeah I had to awhile trying different mods to get this since I had was annoyed by the same problem, Problem being: Custom races are not recognized right by other NPCs which kills immersion. I did find a way to make custom races recognized but it was so time consuming and difficult for me at least it wasn't worth it. From what I remember you'd have to I believe create your own race, custom sound files, and then go through and have each race and faction recognize that faction. I know I'm not getting that 100% right but it was something very similar which just wasn't worth it, which is why most custom races are recognized I believe as Nords. Some tips for making a nice looking character no matter the race: 1. Set the ECE sliders to x2 & x3 during set-up. 2. try and create an upturned nose. 3. Mouth & Nose Type 12 I find the easiest to manipulate and make into something nice looking and is what I use above. 4. You will have to adjust Shoulder scale, Leg size, Hand size, and Head size to get a proportionate body no matter rather you use a regular body or custom Bodyslide body. Skyrim screws up the head, shoulder, hand, and leg size for some reason. It's no big deal though with all the sliders EVE gives you its easy to adjust them to fit your preference. 5. If you want a pouty look with the lips you have to play around with the Vertix editor. Just make sure to slightly open the mouth with the expression editor first then place the red dot on the middle of the upper lip and player around with moving it to your prefference. 6. Remember with ECE you can always use page up and page down to undo and redo. 7. ECE also allows you to save your presets or characters for easy access with slot load. I believe theirs up to 25 different slots to save different character looks in. Easy Way to use Body-Slide: 1. Open it up and select the BODY/ OUTFIT you want this will determine your presets I select CBBE HDT since I use some HDT you can Select CBBE TBBP or w/e you want. 2. Select a preset from the 2nd drop down menu, find something close to the body you want to cut down on your work load. 3. Start playing around with the sliders remember you can enter negative values or go above 100% by typing in the exact number in the box to the right of the slider and hitting enter. ( Might want to turn your sound off as each time you do this a loud DING will be heard) 4. The left side is for what the body will look like at the 0 weight and the right side is what it will look like at 100 weight. 5. For a small petite body set all the top slider to 0 and then player around with the advanced sliders at the bottom. The only thing on the top worth messing with for a petite body is Nipple size, breast height, and Push-up. Pushup and Breast height will give you more perky rounder breast instead of the scrawny saggy tribal breast look. 7. Another tip start with your low weight then copy all the values to the high weight side and start adjusting from that point. That way your high weight body is in proportion to your low weight body. 8. Also open up the preview menu for either Low or High weight depending on what your modifying so you can see your adjustments in without constantly having to load into game. -Left mouse drag moves up, down, and side to side. -RIght Mouse drag Rotates and angles the body back and forth -Mouse Wheel Zooms of course 9. When done click "Save Preset" at the top, name your preset and check advanced CBBE and CBBE bodies click save then save again. Now every time you go to Bodyslide and use the Body/ Outfit You used to create your 'Custom Body" your preset will be in the preset drop down box. 10. To get your body into the game the large "BUILD" button and your go to go it will move your meshes into the game and your body is ready to go. Outfit Studio: 1. Once you have Body Slide open open Outfit Studio by click the Outfit Studio button in the bottom right 2. Click File > New Project > (use CBBE Body) Next > Check load nif and then browse > Go to your Skyrim Meshes folder and select the outfit you want to modify 3. Their will be 3 nifs for each outfit a GO nif ( the image that shows in menu), a 0 nif (Low Weight Nif), and a 1 nif ( high weight nif). 4. If you are using 0 only modify 0 if your using 100 only modify 1 if your using something in between you have to modify both 0 and 1 but never GO. 5. After you have selected your nif by double clicking your back at the menu and hit finish. 6. Now check the box shoulder Tweak since you have to have a box checked to modify the outfit 7. Now hit Slider at the top > slider preset > Check Low or High weight depending on the nif you selected > then use the drop down box to find your custom preset and hit ok. 8. Now look the right your base shape is now set as your custom preset the only we loaded into the game earlier. 9. Now bellow base shape their will be a second list called New Outfit these are all the nifs for the outfit. 10. Often times outfit will use their own body to better fit the outfit this will replace the in game body when the outfit is equipped so we have to deal with this. 11. 1st we will delete said body often times called BaseShape.00, SLIM PUSHUPNW3 or similiar names. 12. Now duplicate your base shape from the top and name it after the same body you deleted now you have your body loaded in. 13. Now you can modify outfit by right clicking on their name to the right and re-scaling and re-positioning them with the menu that open. 14. After that with "Shoulder Tweak" checked and your outfit scaled and positioned correctly you can go in and start using the the mouse by selecting the icons at the top a circle with the protrusion expands and are, the circle with the bite out of it decreases an area, while the circle to the far right smooth an area. 15. do this to each individual nif to get the outfit just the way you want it. Just remember you need to select each nif to the righ to modify it 16. You can also use the hotkeys or the icon the the left each nif to hide it or put it into grid form which i would sudjest using and also hiding the main base shape when an outfit has another base shape in it. This way you can modify the body also to fit your outfit better. 17. You can also toggle off X mirror to modify just one side of a nif and use the circle with the target on it to move parts of nifs around with more control. 18. Hitting the space will open up a menu to control the size, strength, and level of area your modifying very useful. 19. When done go to export nif. and replace the nif you originally selected with the new nif you created now your outfit will show up in game do this for both 0 and 1 for each outfit to properly use the weight slider for that oufit or if you only use max or min weight you only have to do it for 0 or 1. 20. Last tip it is often a good idea to create an custom body for an outfit if your using a BBP, TBBP, or HDT mod to prevent clipping with body parts when the outfit is equipped. You have to remember the outfit doesn't have BBP animations to breast and ass will clip through when they shake. However, with a custom body created using a regular CBBE without BBP the body will the same proportions but wont have BBP animations when the outfit is equipped. This is why I said to select CBBE instead of anything else at the very begginging so when we duplicate our base shape it doesn't have any BBP type of animations
