Suyeta Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 Hello all! I have a small problem I keep running into and am not sure what to do about it. When I try to install and run with certain mods from the lovers line, I click to launch Oblivion and the little screen pops up showing that it is accessing OBSE then.. nothing. Back to desktop.. no game launch. Has anyone else had these problems? If so did you fix it and how? I have tried using the AIO omods... still nothing. Tried manually installing a few and checking after each one. Lovers Bitch seems to cause the problem as well. The only thing I can think of is I need to do something to OBSE but I'm using the 20 version from the link. Any help is much appreciated.. thank you
kilana Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 This usually happens if an active mod is missing a master. Try looking at each mod you have active and see if it is missing a dependancy. Wyrebash is convenient for this.

Any help is much appreciated.. thank you [/quote'] First off make sure you are launching the game via obse_loader.exe Second, CTD at launch as Kilana correctly stated is most generally due to a missing master file or a bad/missing ini file. gregathit Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 Well, that load order is what I expected to see and is the reason you are crashing Oblivion is increadibly fussy about load order and sadly lovers is no different. For guidance on how to fix your load order pop over to the link below and click on the technical assistance spoiler and then the example load order spoiler. Link: http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=2810 Also you can't run both of these at the same time: LoversAdultPlayPlus.esp LoversAdultPlayPlusforSSP.esp <---this is the latest version and is what you should use unless another plugin you have specifically demands you use the older version. Even if it does want the older version there is a way to get around this, but unless it is needed I won't confuse things further at this time. Just an example for you on why you are crashing: Lovers with PK.esm is a master file for LoversCreature.esm - what this means is that Lovers with PK.esm must always be above LoversCreature.esm in the load order. Think of it in terms of a bucket full of parts that it draws from on an assembly line. If the bucket of parts is not there then it can't assemble anything and the line stops (crashes). Oblivion.esm - This must at all times be your first plugin or you will crash. These two generally are your last two plugins or lovers won't work right (their are a few exceptions but you don't have those particular mods installed, so again I won't confuse things by talking about them): LoversIdleAnimsPriority.esp LoversAnimObjectsPriority.esp If you have further questions just holler

I have managed to get the game up and running with the majority of the mods active and working for the most part. I had to turn a few mods off due to a few mods that were clashing and, according to the forum, do the same thing anyway. My new problem that I am working on is that every time a dog tries to ahem.. *attack* me, I get a game crash followed by a little popup window with options to either close the program or search for solutions. here is my new load order. I followed your advice and tried to make it match the one in the post as close as possible. I used Wyre and found a few missing master mods that I have since replaced. The only problem i have now with Wyre is that when I load it .. it messes up my load order that I changed using OBMM. Not sure what that's about. gregathit Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 With regard to wrye - open it up and right click on the file bar to change the default settings. First make sure that at the very bottom "BOSS - disable lock times" is checked. Second, then right click the file bar again and this time go to the "sort by" option and then make sure "load order" is checked. That should stop the reshuffling. Looking at your load order I see you are trying to run Joburg and LandE together. This is not wise and has lead to all sorts of problems. Pick one or the other. Move DanceSyncEng.esp and GangBangSync.esp above all your lovers files. These type of animation files contain scripts that can screw up lovers. These two files are never supposed to be enabled. The must be merged into your bashed patch and left disabled: LoversCreature_SexualOrgans.esp LoversCreature_SexualOrgans_Dogs.esp LoversTamagoClub.esp - is too far down in your load order - look back at the link I gave you and you will see that it should be just under TamagoConfide.esp Make the above corrections and double check your list again against the link and start a new game or use a clean save. It is important that you do one or the other because if you don't then old information will still be in your save game and things won't work right. Holler if you have questions or further issues
