Guest
Hello and sorry in advance if this has been asked too many times... sooo I mess a lot with so many acronyms and choices...Whats the difference between this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/21199/? and this other one? : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37900/?I'm just planning to use these (not totally decided about UNP body) in my next fresh new game:UNP Body???XP32 Maximum Skeleton -XPMSSG Female Textures RenewalNatural EyesEthereal Elven OverhaulHDT HighHeels SystemBy the way... is HDT PE (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53996/?) a must in order to make animations run properly? I'm confused What should be the install order, what to overwrite with what? I want to prevet future CTD's If you could enlight me a little bit i would be very grateful. Link to comment
guk
To quickly clear up the abbrevations in chronological order: BBP - (think world war 2) scientific breakthrough: modders simulate world's first breast bounce with special animations and skeleton TBBP - (1980's) next generation of BBP which also allows butt bounce HDT - (today) uses the built-in physics engine that probably all 3D games have since ~15 years to create autonomous bounce Now, having HDT Physics Extension installed is backwards compatible. This means that you get only breast bounce with BBP, and TBBP outfits and skeletons work but not the animations. The other way it is not compatible, so you can not have any HDT-PE bodies/outfits installed without the actual HDT-PE mod. Whats the difference between this mod: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/21199/? and this other one? : http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37900/? Redux stopped updating with TBBP, UNP-HDT is simply the base UNP body with HDT-PE enabled. I'm just planning to use these (not totally decided about UNP body) in my next fresh new game: UNP Body??? XP32 Maximum Skeleton -XPMS SG Female Textures Renewal Natural Eyes Ethereal Elven Overhaul HDT HighHeels System For the future i'd suggest Unified UNP as you can create HDT versions of practically every possible UNP or 7B body, and also convert HDT outfits to it. If you just want to plug&play, you'll probably have issues finding HDT conversions for UNP-HDT, but as mentioned any TBBP/BBP/noBBP outfits will work without crashing your game. For the skeleton you definitely want XMPS-Extended over the old version. The rest is just personal choice, like SG textures are as good as any other as long as you like the look. By the way... is HDT PE (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53996/?) a must in order to make animations run properly? I'm confused What should be the install order, what to overwrite with what? I want to prevet future CTD's Bodies (UNP-something + SoS for example) Textures XPMS-E (read the requirements!) HDT-PE (order doesn't matter since it is a separate SKSE plugin) Link to comment
Guest
Thanks for your reply, i'm still quite confused but I guess it's time to try things rather than just reading tons of options which I usually can't understand 100% because of the language barrier (I'm not an english speaking person). I don't really mind if the outfits are not compatible with the anims, 80% of my playtime is just looking my chars back and the rest 20% involves nude bodies. I really want to take all you said into consideration... but that "UNP unified" you mentioned goes beyond my poor knowlegde in these modding things. (tried to read and understand the post without any luck) Unless there's a dumb ppl friendly guide out there on how can one make everything smooth and playable, i'm afarid i will always have doubts about what does what. guk
I've tried to keep the information to the basics, just the part about WW2 + 1980's was more of a joke Unified UNP is an addon for Bodyslide 2, but only for people who want to go the extra mile to customize everything to perfection. So you're best off with the UNP-HDT body you linked, and use any outfits you can get in the priority order HDT > TBBP > BBP. Link to comment
