conglaciatus1 Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 So - I'm working at some funky armor conversions and I converted an open-fronted jacket to bodyslide tbbp. However, there are no clipping issues except with animations that involve the arms raising (ie. 2hander strong attacks). The clipping is from the armpit area of the body mesh, as well as a bit of the shoulder. Now, I have given a generous amount of room between the body and the jacket, however, this has only slightly helped things. I cannot use a zap on the body mesh, as the jacket is open enough you can see the sides of the torso, thus making the hidden mesh very obvious. I've tried adjusting weightings, but no luck so far. Can anyone tell me what bone weights are probably the culprits, or heck, give me any advice at all on this, as this is really starting to drive me nuts...? tl;dr - I have clipping on a bodyslide conversion when arm-raised animations occur. How precisely do I fix that without zaps? Thanks.
ousnius Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 The only way to fix weights is to figure out what to paint stronger or weaker, or trying a different tool for the weight copy like Mesh Rigger.
