haytur Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Never More - The Rogue Overhaul.  Note: I am still a bit new to skyrim modding so it -may- take me sometime to figure everything out, I welcome any help and suggestions to improve this mod as well. I am a pro Rogue/Thief/Assassin player and just wanting to create something for fellow players who enjoy the role as well, not to mention adding additional content. The General idea of this mod is not to be over powered, overbearing, or forceful to the people who choose to play it. By this I mean the things added in the mod are intended to be more immersive and quality of life changes than just extra amazing powers. I will do my best  to add a menu so players may turn off the certain features they may or may not like as I am a big fan of being able to change the way you play your game to your own preferences. Anyway enough rambling on! Hope you enjoy the concept - Haytur.   Skyrim... Well you have done it all haven't you? Braved the Dragons, killed you some vampires and ran around terrorizing people while you where naked chanting THE DRAGON BORN IS COMING!!! THE DRAGON BORN IS COMING!!! Hell you are one of those sneaky bastards who loves stealing everything insight, than assassinating people just because they once had a arrow in the knee. You have saved the assassins guild, and you have watched it burned to the ground. Let's not even get started on how many times you had some weirdo come up to you in Riften and call you poor trying to get you to do all the hard work yourself. Luckily for you times are changing... With the addition of the Never More Rogue Overhaul. Woooo!!!! Right? Well hold your horses because when you look this good you don't have to know anything.  Overview: Now that you are both Master Assassin and the Leader of Thieves. A Mysterious group has taken notice of you. They send you a vague notice about wanting to meet. The group feels odd to you, they won't say who they are. Only giving the response we are simply a curious volume of forgotten lore. Even the man you have come to know as Varen creeps you out, like his gaze pierces deep into parts of you that you once have forgotten. So upon your quest you go, learning the new ways of the Rogue. You can't shake the feeling like you are still a child in this world, despite your dealings with the assassins and thieves. The words still fresh in your head "What you have been through up until now was only the road that brought you to this door." What adventures await you, who is this group and what is in store for your future?  Features:  Quest: 1. All new quest line, that will be fully voiced. 2. Now with humor, and immerse feel flavor. 3. Also if you don't read the spoilers there will be things to figure out! If you hate puzzles like a furious 3rd grader, than my friend we have spoilers just for you! 4. You will be giving a different quest to go along with each now level you gain making you utilize your new ability to succeed.  Leveling!: 1. Earn exp via lock picking, murder, stealing, murder, pick pocketing, redrum AND mugging people! Also MURDER! 2. You can also gain exp from rare books and notes dropped via them darned bandits. 3. 10 levels in total each with their own ability!  10 Shiny New Abilities!: Note: The abilities and the order in which you gain them may change. If you have suggestions for different abilities I am always open to hear them 1. Mug - You are able to mug people, they have a chance of running away and yelling for help and getting those nasty guards after you though  BUT there will be rare items you can get from doing this. So it will be worth doing 2. Trained Hearing: Tired of being as a blind as a bat? Well congrats! Now with your new ability you can "see" people in the dark by being able to hear and figure out where they are. (Oh look a lore friendly way of infra vision!) 3. Twinkle Toes - Increase the speed at which you can sneak walk by 20% (See note below.) 4. Sweet Talker - interactions involving persuasion should always go your way now! (See note below.) 5. Keen Eye - When opening a locked chest or pick pocketing you get a chance at bonus loot 6. Run for the Hills - Increased running and sprinting speed by 20% (See note below.) 7. Anatomy - Any sneak attack done with a dagger will always kill the human target. (See note below.) 8. Toxic - You now have a random chance to poison the enemy every time you hit them with a weapon. (See note below.) 9. It's not the size that matters - You now do same amount of damage with daggers as you do with swords. 10. One with the Shadows - Teleports you behind enemy 1 min cool down. (See note below.)  Abilitie notes: Movement Speed Abilities: I am unsure if I can actually make it so the added movement speed happens at a certain level, seems like there is not a option to make the increase speed boost happen when I want it to but we will see so if you guys have suggestions for something else let me know.  Sweet Talker: Seems kinda meh, not even sure fully if i can make it 100% but I am sure that I can. Also considering a different ability (Connections: - Get out of jail free card thanks to people you know) but again this one is up for debate.  Toxic & Anatomy: These I will probably make it so you can disable them if not change how they work through a menu. The Poison in the mod will probably be weak so I will probably put in a way to make it stronger and effect proc rates. As for Anatomy I will probably just have a disable button so people who don't like the instant kill don't have to deal with it. THOUGH I don't know if I can restrict the instant kill thing to just humans and having a dagger. If I can't I may have to rethink this ability.  One with the Shadows - Yes its basically shadow step. I think a one min cd makes the ability fun with out being to over powered, but I will probably make it adjustable in the menu. I dunno if I want to make it let you stay invis for a few seconds after the teleport so you can choose not to attack that person or not. We shall see. Â
Neil3824 Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Will definitely be following this topic. So the new quest would start after you've finished both Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild quest lines? Or will you be giving it a level restriction as well?
