Can someone recommend an ENB

I have tried a couple of ENBs now, haven't been happy enough to continue with them installed.  Project ENB was quite close to what I wanted, but found colour saturation too high.

Does anyone know an ENB that is fairly similar to project ENB in colour, without colour saturation not quite as high ?

Currently checking out the ENB comparison shots found on this site.

Thinking of trying an ENB myself, which one(s) look decent but have minimal performance/FPS impact?

I installed the realvision ENB (Nexus) with rather conservative settings in mind and after adjusting an INI setting or two, it looks pretty good and isn't really more noticeably laggy than vanilla on my system.  JK's Whiterun really bogged my system down though.

Specs:

GTX 760 2GB

AMD A8 APU (lol un-used on-chip GPU)

8GB DDR3 1333Mhz

Settings:

Realvision ENB recommended stuff + all view distances maxed and 1920x1080

Notes:

If you follow the Realvision ENB installation guide, be very conservative with the mods that are listed as FPS hogs.

K ENB :)

I am not fan of enb to focus on environment but character

of course K enb have a very good quality of environment too

hardware : ATI HD 6970, cpu core I5, 8gb ram

Went with the K ENB here http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58338/?and Skyrim looks spectacular. Downside though seems to be some hit to FPS with all the HD textures and the SMIM along with the K ENB.

Edit: Going with http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/22056/?for the time being. Tried a few others but I have so many HD textures and other mods installed that the other ENB I've tried impacted FPS too much.

yeah Realike, Stakado and Photoreal are the lightest, K/Kountervibe/Kinematic and Serenity the heaviest ENBs you can find.

All the mods I have installed for HD textures (highest quality each had), Static Mesh Improvement Mod (including many of the mods recommended in the install section), Parallax project and it was the K ENB that was reducing FPS. System isn't a slouch either. 3.7Ghz i7 quad-core, 8GB RAM, GTX 750 2G, 256GB SSD (mods installed with MO are on a seperate drive to save space). I could run the K ENB but FPS was noticeable. Hitting Shift+Enter brought up the ENB menu and that showed 22-25FPS in the top left window.

With a few tweaks to the bloom, I like grim and somber...forgot the preset but its the most popular one.

I use parallax on top of it and it looks amazing

Here are some (Nexus) screenshots I put up

Very nice screenshots. May try that ENB as well. Just a small pita having to delete all files and tweak .ini for each preset.

Shamelessly self-promoting if you're interested in an comparison series of nearly all halfway actual presets:

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/60685/?

Benchmark data for each preset is included, but they should be judged relatively to another (e.g. "ENB A is more performance-intensive than ENB B").

For most of the presets only enviromental shots are available at the moment but I'm working on constantly updating the added character shots to all the series.

PS: It should be noted, that the nature of this needs some space, but with an (practically) unnoticeable loss of quality in the shots I'm thinking 500MB for over 1400 screens aren't too bad.

Awesome job with the spreadsheet on the ENBs. Makes it alot easier when you can see what the actual impact is. I shudder to think what kind of desktop you'd need to run K ENB at 60FPS average.

Thanks for feedback! ;)

Actually I don't think it gives a configuration that can run the Extreme version of K-ENB on steady 60 FPS (besides some hilarious multi-GPU configs^^).

But I'm already planning to pump up my rig in terms of GPU further somewhen that year. Not really focused on AMD or Nvidia, but maybe 2 AMDs (min. 6 GB is important for me, so probably not the 380X) or one Titan 2 (2 is another question... :D).

Your rig is already stronger then mine so have to take the spreadsheet with a grain of salt. Don't think I can actually use many of the ENB listed. Tried Paradise ENB, my FPS dropped to 11 according to the ENB in-game menu. Gonna have to keep trying til I can find one a bit better then RealLike ENB but not much FPS impact.

I liked a lot of the ENBs I tried, but I had issues with too much darkness and shadows over faces that I didn't want.  Also a couple of them brought my FPS way down from 60 fps to 20-30 fps.  It may not be your cup of tea, but I'm currently using a SweetFX preset mod called "I Can't Believe It's Not ENB".  It is extremely performance friendly as there's 0-4 fps loss.  You can check it out.  ENBs have more to offer, but I was pleasantly surprised what the mod offered.

I'd love to use ENB's but whenever I do my framerate drops dramatically. :(

I personally use :

remember your lighting mod can also come into play with saturation.

A recent pic I shot using Seasons of Skyrim :

To recommend a preset it would be good to know, what framerate you're getting normally. Even the most "performance-friendly" ones are given me a 8-FPS-loss on my 290X (85 --> 78 avg). It should be said that these ones aren't likely have all effects enabled of course.

Hmm, my Computer is about a year old and I get around 30 fps with Seasons ENB outdoors using the (True HDR) Full Graphics Mode preset.

Is there an ENB for 8.1 users? everything I've seen is for windows 7 and if there is, could someone please point me in the right direction to obtain it

Thanks in advance

I'm running the Real Vision (you can find it on nexus) using the enb version 0265 on windows 8.1 and is running well, I haven't noticed any issue.
