ljacquard Posted January 25, 2015 Share Posted January 25, 2015 Wrye Flash and FNVedit seem to tell me the ESP is "empty". Â My question is : do I need to keep it activated ? If yes, do I need to keep it activated if I don't really care about support for older Sexout mods that might need the ESP ? Â ESP slots are kind of hard to come by nowadays, and want to deactivate it. Should I expect armageddon ? Â Â PS : I've installed all the resources required by <SexoutNG>, and of course those belonging to <SexoutZAZ>. Link to comment
Azmodan 102 Posted January 25, 2015 Share Posted January 25, 2015 ZAZ is now a dummy esp. Its resources are integrated into sexout. You will only need it if one of your plugin requires it and wasn´t updated to the new sexout ng version. Most plugins that use ZAZ should check for the ng version now and don´t need the ZAZ esp anymore.  Oh and if you integrate sexout esm and esps into a wyre patch or an fnvedit merged patch you might have to expect some problems. Â The only way to know for certain if you need the placeholder ZAZ ESP active is to deactivate it and see if your mods still work. If any of them don't and they say it's because ZAZ is missing, contact the author and tell them to update their mod. Link to comment

Â Old mods that require zaz specifically check for it via IsModLoaded, and from there they may also use GetModIndex and BuildRef to directly access records inside of the esp. This is how MCM works for example. Â It's only going to be fine to disable that mod if you follow the guidelines already noted. Check the requirements of the mod itself. If it says it needs ZAZ, try it without the esp or contact the author and ask them if they've updated their scripts yet. Link to comment

prideslayer Posted January 25, 2015 Share Posted January 25, 2015 What resources? Here's what you need to do. Â 1. Uninstall any standalone ZAZ you have. That includes the ESP and ZAZ data pack. 2. Install Sexout CORE. 3. Install Sexout DATA. Â You can then activate or deactivate the ZAZ esp (included in sexout core) at your leisure. If you noticed mods saying zaz is not detected, activate the empty ESP and contact the mod author -- or fix the mod yourself and send it to the author. Link to comment
