Updated Nvidia to latest & grabbed that new enb & it's awesome, but when you enter a dungeon and that fog pops up, its lag central. Like 2fps. Guess I have to drop to an older enb or is there a way to beat the fog?
nutluck Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Saying that new ENB doesn't really help since it doesn't tell anyone what ENB you mean. But if you wasn't lagging before that that is likely the cause, as for the fog, hard to say with out knowing what ENB you are talking about.
Guest Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 What helped me was selecting skyrim in the nvidia control panel and setting v-sync on adaptive and then in my skyrim.ini or skyrimprefs.ini setting ipresentinterval=0 and also in my enb I made sure to turn of v-sync so its only handled by my card. Also make sure you ini is clean and only has options you think will help you I have mine set up pretty high but i get great performance you can try it make sure to keep your backup. Now make sure under skyrimprefs you change it to your videocard and under the skyrim.ini set the grass to your desired settings if you use sfo then keep it the same or if you want more performance then set grass to mingrasssize to 40 also do you have any mods that add fog like COT addon or a texture replacer and are you %100 ssure its the fog? Its not the ENB because I use it wonderfully with fog.
azmodan22 Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Remember that if you are using an ENB, you must first open up the grafics setting in Skyrim Launcher and set anisotroping and antialliasing both to 0. Those are now managed by the enb.

HD2014 Posted January 28, 2015 Author Posted January 28, 2015 It has been a while, but here's my fix... I think I'm using polo enb or whatever. It's before I really took notice of enb stuff. Before the pc update, I tried a skeleton and it took a chunk out of my Pc mem, so I thought hey, maybe the same thing is going on here AGAIN! So I disabled the XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended and I can move about freely. It's the craziest thing... I'm still "experimenting" to see what else I can do, cuz this way, I lost bounce to my step. lol Edit 2: I did a complete skeleton cleanup and just used the skeleton that was causing me issues and had frames from 30-42. How long with this last? Now I need to fix the weird stubby hands..
