Sticz Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I am using the Sonia companion mod and have noticed that whenever she is finished, her script defaults to have her wander off back home. This gets tedious when she gets pounced on in a dungeon and I don't notice. Is this a load order problem or is there a way to fix her script? Sticz
emo877 Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 I had long experience with Sonia (over years, hundreds of gameplay hours), and i'd name her behavior as "very buggy" -- and not only for L-PK scenes. She attacked patrol horses "out of blue" (when legioner had fight with random bear near road), she sticked in lying position after combat knock-out (long before first sex mod appeared at my comp!) endless time (until reloading, to be exact) and, yes, she switched her AI to "go home" not only after her sex, but also after anybody had sex near her. Less irritating companions were Chakaru's (+Colorwheels)Pym and Esme - but they have their "mad by design" behavior patterns (Pym even have one of starting phrases ~"will you pay my bounties?" - and she got her bounties really!). Esme looks weird (by design, naturaly), but she easily re-dresses (+wig, -her pet lich) to other style i want. I had enough time with them too (Pym even co-existed with Sonia sometime, but they ended fighting each other couple of times), i'd say Esme is most stable of them - technically (Pym often crashes game on inventory access, and have dirty edits, even doing landscape holes over Tamriel(!)). Both Pym and Esme were ok with Lovers (killing of joburg-rapers should not counted, vanila city guards do such things often). Now my choice is Vilja (it took some time to accomodate with her "talkativeness" though); she has some little flaws in behavior too (combat styles are not predictable sometimes, so i limited her weapon with one-two items the same class -- ranged only, for my choice), but all-in-all she is most intelligent and comfort companion i had. Her "story" quests are well done and mostly interesting, and her "talk content" is the best i ever heared in games. One thing i'm unsure about Lovers - it seems Vilja can't become pregnant, due her very complex and dynamic inventory 'engine'; but in my game it's "feature, not bug" (child-free lifestyle).
Sticz Posted January 24, 2015 Author Posted January 24, 2015 I have Vilja, her dialog does tend to drone on. I still have a copy of Montana's Sexy Companion, but she doesn't say much and her sex options, though very refined with near perfect positioning, are limited. I will look through the various companion mods. After posting the first comment, I played around with some coding and can order my slaves to equip a weapon and attack, still needs some tweaking as they are rather hesitant. Sticz

I totally agree. I am currently using Vilja and she is awesome. Very well done! With her horns, which cut to the correct response, she is the most life like character I have seen. I am trying to see what mods work well with her.
emo877 Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Sure "works well" is very individual term, but she looks nice in Aion's clothes** (can't name it "armor"). One more flaw - she fails to use "paralyse" spell: cast it not enough near to target, no one hit in last ~50 fights. Another reason to keep her back, with decent bow&arrows.
