Tharbad123 Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Hi all  I've been using SKYUI for a long time and SKSE (always uptodate with the latest stable version) but after running setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1 my MCM is remaining blank.  Now I've asked on the SKYUI Nexus page and nobody has got back to me. I've tried typing it again and it remains blank.  I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling both SKYUI and SKSE and various combinations and order of the three processes but nothing - it remains blank.  I even left it and just continued playing the game hoping it would eventually come through but several game days later and it remains blank.  The SKSE plug ins all work but I cannot configure any so for instance HDT High Heels works and I get the debug reference on the screen which I normally switch off but as its not showing up, I can't.  Its always worked fine and I've always used the config stage reset above to refresh it but I've got nothing.  Any idea's as its driving me mad.  Cheers

bahamut2119 Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 No when its active in your LO its supposed to automatically work but give it a few minutes it does display a message if its working in the upper left hand side of your screen.
Tharbad123 Posted January 23, 2015 Author Posted January 23, 2015 Then it's not working either. As I left it on for a few hours while I went and did something else. I chose a small cell too to do it in thinking it might speed up the usual processes. Nothing. Still blank. I also uninstalled SKYUI and then went through the data folder removing anything left over from previous SKYUI installations - I found four files in the script folder all named SKI_ " something. So removed them before reinstalling it. Ah perhaps I need to place SKYUI further back up the load order although the MCM Kicker says it can sit anywhere. I'm at a loss.
bahamut2119 Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 I dont know then something has to be busted that mod usually does it for me if I loose a few menus but I cant say ive ever lost the all before.
Tharbad123 Posted January 23, 2015 Author Posted January 23, 2015 Yeah it's a puzzler. I might try a new game just to see if they load. Might overwrite spmething somewhere which might fix my own game. Hopefully.
Uncle64 Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 I have found out that if you reset some mod like blood or rain. It forces other mods to load in MCM.

Tharbad123 Posted January 25, 2015 Author Posted January 25, 2015 Ok, I solved it (sort of) I went back painstakingly through my saves until the MCM was still there. Then I let all my new ones configure and it was ok. Then I went forward until the problem started. Carried on my game from there. It's only two levels back and most of the saves after it are of me faffing about trying to fix the problem. So it's not too bad. Thanks for all your help though, it's much appreciated.
