banlu Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 hello, long time ago i got some animation files from somewhere not sure if it was "shy" , they dont seem to be available in lovers(at least to me) so i would like to check them out but thing is, i dont know how to get them to run all i have are .ini and .kf files , i have no idea where to place them nor what script to edit to call them to run to check it out if anyone could help on this it would be great , thank you~
gregathit Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 Banlu, Ini files go in the Oblivion\Data\ini\ folder kf files go in the Oblivion\Data\meshes\characters\_male\Idleanims\ani2\ folder Yo don't have to use scripting to "call" them out you just have sex and you can change posititions via the "grab" key and hit the console key (~ by default) to see which numbered one is running. banlu Posted February 29, 2012 Author Posted February 29, 2012 thank you for responding greg but what if , if that file is already exist , i mean theres a file i think its dog a animation and the file name is 207_motion.ini but that file already exist in my oblivion folder do i overwrite it and back up? or i can rename new file to other non existing number? for its kf files , there are 3 folders of it 207 , 207_1 , 207_2 and each folders have their own batch of kf files by their names ex. (folder 207) - 207_OffMotionx0.kf , 207_OffMotionx1.kf , 207_OffMotionx2.kf... (folder 207_1) - 207_1_OffMotionx0.kf , 207_1_OffMotionx1.kf , 207_1_OffMotionx2.kf ... (folder 207_2) - 207_2_OffMotionx0.kf , 207_2_OffMotionx1.kf , 207_2_OffMotionx2.kf... i supposed i dont paste all the 3 folders into anim2 folder right? but instead pick one of 3 i want to try and rename it to 207_OffMotionx0.kf ,207_OffMotionx1.kf so that it match the ini file, am i getting u right?

As to overwriting - yea you will have to overwrite but DO make a backup first. On the multiple 207 files - I don't have a clue what the deal is there. If there is no ini file that corresponds with that number I don't think you will ever see it. You can't simply choose an unused number as the game will not recognize it unless you open the lovers plugin's esp and adjust the script to include it. However if there are animations you don't like you can replace them but you will need to make sure you replace both the kf files and the ini or you will have issues. Be aware that human to human animations are the 1-200 and the higher ones are generally creature to human ones.
