uninstalled everything and reinstalled with all the updated files

My new vegas wont run, I uninstalled everything and I mean everything, reinstalled and updated all files that have been update and Boss cant find it, and The cleaner for NVtesedit doesn't find it either. I have a legal copy and I don't know what I did wrong.  I could use some help please.
