Nasseliten Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Hey all, I'm wondering if there is any quest mods out there that actually has a good story and good player interacting where you can provide some intelligent answers when speaking with people. It can be adult content mods or not, it doesn't matter. I heard so much good about "wheels of lul" but I'm just shaking my head already at the start of this mod when some lunatic that is speaking in riddles and dancing runs up to me and ask me to delve nto some dank cave without giving any real reason or coin upfront to do so, and my only option is to answer him. "Very well, follow me." I'm just thinking What the f....?!? I'm having a hard time roleplaying any type of character in this quest except a mindless kid who just want to rush into adventure without thinking. So anyone have some good recomendations for immersive, intelligent story quest mods?
Manax Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 I felt like Wrymstooth had a decent quest line though it has been a while. I agree that for the most part finding great quests that allow for a lot of roleplaying can be a challenge, but I try not to complain since I add nothing in the way of modding to the community.
ratbag Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 interesting NPCs has about twenty high quality quests with excellent voice acting. Dragon break is great too, you can find it on here.
Nasseliten Posted January 17, 2015 Author Posted January 17, 2015 Yeah Interesting npc is good, I have it installed actually but the quests there are so subtle it's hard to find many of them. So I keep forgetting about it. Didn't hear about Dragon break before, will check it out.
gvman3670 Posted January 17, 2015 Posted January 17, 2015 Dragon Break 1 and 2, Maids 2: Deception, Brhuce Hammar (or anything else by TrainWiz, including Wheels of Lull), Falskaar is alright, and Wyrmwood is very good (maybe excellent really), There are more for sure, but these are some that really stand out.
Nasseliten Posted January 17, 2015 Author Posted January 17, 2015 Yeah, the thing is. I didn't like Wheels of lul. Don't get me wrong. It IS a good quest mod. Great actually. But not the type of quest mod I am after. I'm after quests that have good dialogue for the player aswell as npc. Bruce hammar is cool, but it's very silly I'm more after realistic roleplaying quests that gives the players options when responding. Most quests out there are for good aligned characters, and I'm playing a more selfish neutral evil succubus character. Thanks for the suggestions, I was always curious about maids 2:deception. Wyrmstooth looks interesting also. (If thats the one you mean, I cannot find any wyrmwood)
gvman3670 Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Yup, I meant Wyrmstooth. If you haven't gone too far into Wheels yet you might want to go farther before passing judgement. TW's quests are a lot like they were in Morrwind, so they're more challenging and generally do have more dialogue options and choices to make than the majority of others made for Skyrim.
Taskmaster Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Don't forget the classic Moonpath to Elsweyr. Light on story, heavy on visual appeal. The worldspace is beautiful.
fizzybutt Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56037/? Dwemertech. I haven't gotten a chance to put it in a play through yet. I keep putting it off for other things but it's always fascinated me.
Jeffrey Lane Posted January 18, 2015 Posted January 18, 2015 Yeah Interesting npc is good, I have it installed actually but the quests there are so subtle it's hard to find many of them. Didn't hear about Dragon break before, will check it out. been working on these quest slowly, you damn near have to refer to the mpds page for alot of the quest requirements. http://3dnpc.com/wiki/interesting-npcs/quests/(if by chance ya dont have it)
