Myst42 Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Is it possible? I'm kind of making a "cheat" mod pack for roleplaying purposes After finishing the Sacred Island Quest, you become a Daedric Prince... That means you should be immortal ALL THE TIME Not only once a day, while being only on the Shivering Isles and if you can even cast that damn lousy power I asked for some way to make an essential player mod and the best I could get was "Wrye Shivering Death" which teleports player to another place after death. Just setting player to essential is not enough to bypass all the bugs And a beta mod which is gonna be really amazing when ready After that. I wanted to have a mod which added some immunities... you know... Daedric Princes should not worry about getting a freaking cold or drowning in water... or getting poisoned or fried by a fireball when using Unnecessary Violence III... Thanks to @FeebleFlies, I was able to add the spell (ability) at the end of the main SI quest But I ask: Is there a way to swim in lava? I tried setting magic immunity to 100 and nothing happened Tried setting elemental resistances to 300 and nothing happened Some people claim to have done it... I never knew how ??? Is there something I can add to the spell to do the trick?
Vaelorian Posted January 16, 2015 Posted January 16, 2015 Lava is considered as "water damage" by the game. Godmode blocks it, but I'm not sure there's anything else. You could in theory have an event handler that turns godmode on when the player takes water damage, then turns it off when no water damage is taken for a short period of time (let's say... 2-4 seconds?). You could also try adding a Resist Water Damage effect to (for example) the spell effect you already have. That should in theory work, but I've never tried it.
Myst42 Posted January 16, 2015 Author Posted January 16, 2015 Yeap That did it. Resist water Damage Added an icon to it cause It didn't have one, only purple square Water damage... that's so weird. It's done Thks
