darkfender666 Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 I am finally pimping my skyrim to make it beautiful and fun I already configured all female NPCs for all races and all ambient texture and gameplay mods. I still have 2 things to do: Male NPCs Childrens Only thing i'd need is something doesn t ruin all the work i did on female NPCs I used apachii skyhair NPC but it caused so many problems (brown foreheads and sometimes some followers had a brown head layer over thenormal one) that i uninstalled it. I currently use NPC of dibella folllowed by better elves. So i'd need a hair mod for Males that could go along with what i have now (i use NMM and i won't overwrite the 2 mods obviously). Also i don t need lore friendly mods Also a face or skin mod would help. Next i'd need any children mods to make them better. Don t care if adult mod or not i just want them graphically adequate if possible. If you could help me with those last 2 things i'd manage to have the perfect skyrim for me (well i' still have use CBBE vanilla body but i'll fix it later) Ty for any help
Uncle64 Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 You can try this. http://www.ladymoiraine.com Or this. CMO Complete Male Ovehaul, this one is good. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54568/?
fizzybutt Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 Better Males has some face mods that are really nice. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/2488/? I use the Faces - YoungerFacesMergedWithMenByGeonox file in conjunction with SoS smooth body textures and Smooth Male body normal map with scars Beards brings the facial textures up to par with all the texture updates as well. I don't play male characters but I like my men to look good :3
darkfender666 Posted January 13, 2015 Author Posted January 13, 2015 does better males replace vanilla hairs on NPCs? (i already have apaachii full)
fizzybutt Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 does better males replace vanilla hairs on NPCs? (i already have apaachii full) Like I said, I only use the face file I pointed out. If you look, there's a vanilla replacer pack down at the very bottom of the files. I use the npc replacer with apachii hairs (can't find the link for that one) And vanilla hair texture replacer to match all the hair that's added into the game on the npc's that aren't messed with.
darkfender666 Posted January 13, 2015 Author Posted January 13, 2015 ApachiiNPC would be good but i suppose it overwrites npc of dibella for females that uses apachhi+hairdos+sg any solution?
fizzybutt Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 If you're using mod organizer, just place the npc of dibella beneath it in your mod order. That simple. For example: I've got a few mods that change various npc's, so the base npc changer I use this (found the link) goes first, then the face file from better males, then the more specific npc changers, like the ones for Marcurio, Vilkas and Farkas, and then the one that changes the female housecarls into males. But if you've already got something that changes npc hairstyles, only use the face files for the males. It isn't that difficult to do. :3 Again, the one I said **Faces - YoungerFacesMergedWithMenByGeonox file doesn't change hairs. Just gives better faces for the guys... All the files in the better males mod that say 'Faces' first, don't do anything but adjust facial files.
darkfender666 Posted January 13, 2015 Author Posted January 13, 2015 For some reasons hair mods doesn t care about load order....at least with NMM. For example i installed apachii NPC full Well many NPCs went grey faces I didn t overwrite anything about them, yet they went grey faces (and my Apachii is up to date). And the LO was ApachiiNPC=>DibellaNPC=>elves=>many single NPC mods so i had to uninstall all mods and reinstall all in the correct order...but at least i had the chance of using apahiiskyhair and the other mods on top of it. I hope i won't have to do that again when i ill install male faces and childrens
DurtyNelly Posted January 15, 2015 Posted January 15, 2015 I use this for my kids: RS Children. They're really cute and it makes them actually look different. Also, if they're Redgaurd they look like a Redguard. If they are Imperial they look it, and so on. My dudes are a mix of Windsong Character Overhaul head textures with SoS bodies. I love the Windsong face textures and I have to have SoS. There's seam issues, but a good ENB and some tweaking (mostly) got rid of it for me. But I second CMO if you prefer seamless. It's a brilliant mod.
