So, I wanted to make a clean re-install of Oblivion since I kept it in a hard drive which just began to show bad sectors. I started unisntalling programs such as: Construction site, OBMM ect. When I got to Wrye Bash, I uninstalled it, but right after I Noticed that it didn't dissapeare from the controll panel list. Whenever I click on it, it asks to be uninstalled from a directory that doesn't even exist! Has anyone ever had to run into such a problem or maybe have any ideas how to fix?

What version of windows do you have? Try right clicking the icon and selecting remove from list, start menu ect. It just has a dead link left. I've had this on widows8

You can use <CCleaner> to remove dirty registry entries like yours.

It is generally not recommended to move programs out of their folder to another folder, once past the install/initial set up.

I switched to the stand-alone versions a short while ago, so I can run and use the stable WB 295.5 most times and for most things Wrye, but also be able to run 304.3 for importing/exporting faces from save games, which doesn't work in WB 295.5. This works out quite well on Win7.

You'll see a pop-up for saving your config, which you should do for the version you will use most often, if you choose to go this route.

I solved it finally after some time. Apperently, my drive had bad sectors which corructep the install. I used the CCleaner to remove it and it worked.
