brown faces issue

I've some brown faces issues.

They are not only brown but they all use vanilla hairs and vanilla eyes.

 

The usual resurrect from console doesn t fix those.

 

Its mostly about some NPC expecially few guards, few wenches and so on.

 

I use:

Its possibly related to some NPC changer like apachii skyhair.

Of that mod for example i use the NPC replacer, and the colour fix Patches that fixes most of NPCs like Ysolda and similar.

 

I also use beautiful elves., pretty faces and enhanced character edit.

 

 

Starting a new game doesn t solve.

 

Its possibly the most annoying issue i have on skyrim, i managed to solve everything else.

Which NPCs are affected?

 

It sounds like you have a mod that alters the appearance of these NPCs but then have another that touches their form (perhaps altering something in their traits or behaviour tabs), this is resetting their appearance to default and also triggering the darkface bug as a side effect.

 

This may be fixable by changing load order but you'd have to know which mods are making the changes.

It was my idea also but i didn t really found any solution.

 

I suspect is something in the short load order.

 

I'd guess apachii skyhair NPC replacer, but afaik many people use it alongside wenches and guards mods that are the one most affected.

OMG this issue was really hard to find.

 

Deadly wenches* wasn t working well with immersive wenches apachii.

 

So i had to download hairdos version .... (that was incredibly hard to get dodging all malware XD).

 

At that point i downloaded the hairdos immersive wenches and deadly wenches worked fine.

 

Yet i have sometimes an issue with apachii skyhair NPC overhaul that even with Patches turns my follower face to dark brown (different from grey face).

But for that reinstalling the mod works fine.

 

P.S: * deadly wenches spawns random wenches in each faction (guards, bandits, vampires and such... )

Also i totally uninstalled apachii skyhair NPC..

It has more Patches than any pother mod and even so it manages to bugs every few minutes.
