Crashing at startup

So i'm running a few of the Lovers Mods. Unfortunately as it says on the tin when I start the game it crashes immediately. I deactivated the mods and the game runs fine. I deactivated all the other mods except Lovers and it still crashed. I did the opposite, disabled the Lovers mods leaving my other mods alone and the game works fine.

 

Now i'm aware that load order might have something to do with it, so here's the plugins I have so far in load order

I don't know if this is relevant but I manually installed them directly into the data folder. Yes I have OBMM but I chose not to use it. I am running OBSE v0020 and Pluggy 125c. Anyone?

You need to use OBMM to SORT your load order!!!!!!!

That is one of the main functions of it. It is fine to start with the obse loader.

 

Now please post your full load order via OBMM (click on the import/export button and then view load order and then copy it/paste it here).

 

By the way you are missing a primary file loveranimsobjectspriority.esp. And the two plugins that HAVE to be on the bottom of your LO are:

LoversIdleAnimsPriority.esp

Loveranimsobjectspriority.esp

 

Crowning Isles requires that you have installed beautiful people and choco elves as well as New and improved animation project version 2.4 as well as other items.

ZMCplayerslave is an alpha mod that is VERY buggy so I recommend you play it and then uninstall it.

It is important for you to read the threads for each download (the OP and generally the last 2-3 pages so you can see any issues with the current versions) if you want to spend your time playing and not beating the crap out of your monitor because the game keeps crashing

I actually do have loveanimobjectspriority.esp, I just forgot to put it on the list for some reason.

 

And load order adjusted. Since I sincerely doubt my not having Chocolate Elves is what's preventing the game from loading, I tried it out with...well, not good results.

For your convenience, I bolded and underlined the Lovers mods. And yes, I do have New and Improved Animation. It's where my LoversFSE.esp, LoversIdleAnimsPriority.esp, and LoversAnimObjectsPriority.esp come from.

You are crashing because you don't have MBP (modular beautiful people) and the choco elves mbp addon which unfortunately IS a requirement for Crowning Isles as listed in the OP

As you may or may not be aware oblivion will CTD if a master is missing.

You can take the manual install route to install MBP as listed below:

OR you can cheat

(and on things that are complicated I do love to cheat!!!)

And install the OMOD file at the link below that will automatically install everything for you and then you just have to rebuild your bashed patch and bang your done

Alright, after installing the esm file for Beautiful People, the game works. Just two more things if it's not too much trouble helping out a newbie.

 

1) Beautiful People causes the eyes of characters to go pink, if not completely vanish. I know it's Beautiful People because I ran into this problem before when trying to get Drake Dragon Race working. It's not game-breaking per se, but it's immersion-breaking as hell.

 

2) Any way to test if the mods are working? I've done a bit more research and apparently this comes up a lot. I'm just wondering if there's a console command, or if I just get a bandit to attack me until something happens.

1. Did you archive invalidate via bsa redirection yet?

2. Did you merge all of the beautiful people esp files into your bashed patch and disable them with the exception of the sheo eyes esp?

 

Ah, what are you trying to test? If lovers then equip your rape spell via your spell book get down into a sneak position and sneak up behind someone and try to rape them.

 

If you are wanting to test Joburg then you will need to turn chaos mode on via the rape setting spell and walk around naked for a bit. Or if you are testing crowning isles then there is a quest line that you will need to start to get things going and you would be better served going over to that thread and browsing it.
