Fauk Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Hello Community, I decided to make a clean installation of skyrim and for that I downloaded all the mods I wanted to use again in order to be up to date. The Problem is now that I have two XP Skeletons I can use, and I’m not sure which one is the right one. I have the most recent one from Tesnexus: XPMS-1.93a or the one from Loverslab: XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended 2.32 So which one is the right one? Are there any differences between the two or?
Killing Joke Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Extended is Groovtama's continuation of the now abandoned xpms from xp32, so go with XPMSE.
nutluck Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 It depends on what you plan to install. The one on LL is for if you want to use any of the HDT physics mods, if you don't plan to use a physics mod the other one works fine.
jap2015 Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 That will be determined by what body and animations you want to use.
Fauk Posted December 26, 2014 Author Posted December 26, 2014 I plan to use the UNPB blessed body redux and the HDT Physics Extensions, still not sture with these HDT things, I´m new to that, but it seems like that the XPMSE from LL should be the best one to use then?

If you are using HDT then XPMSE on LL is the one you have to use. IMHO it is the better of the two anyways as it is still being updated, but the other one is fine if you don't use HDT. HDT can be a little daunting but it is not to bad, the key is installing stuff in the right order and making sure you have a body and skeleton that supports it.
Fauk Posted December 26, 2014 Author Posted December 26, 2014 Yeah I have to look what has or needs HDT from the things I have or want to use. But XPMSE will be the thing to go, thank you all for helping me out
