Fuck yeah Infernal!

 

Sadly, they are no more. One of the members (David Parland aka Blackmoon, and the driving force behind the band) committed suicide early 2013.

He were a great musician and he were the creator of bands such as Necrophobic, Dark Funeral and Infernal.

 

 

Yeah the usual drill, many good Black Metalists commit suicide, they say they hate trendies, but Dead started that trend and they don't seem to have a problem with that, I miss Jon Nodtveidt from Dissection even though it was death metal, it was the kind of death metal that I like :c

 

 

Jon was a really cool guy, but I wasn't a really big fan of his band (to soft for me :P, even thou they indeed made a few good songs), and if I'm not mistaken, suicide was like that last thing on his bucket list that he had left to "experience". Something he explained in a letter, that went something like this:

 

"I have now experience all things that I wanted in life, there is nothing left. Except death. Which I intend to experience now. Don't mourn for me, this is what I want" - More or less. I don't think it was that simple though, he was deeply depressed, which something most Black/Death/Extreme Metal musician/people are.

Edit: Right now I do not really care what the world should end to, but can we get over with it already?

 

Actually I did find it cheery since it sings about undeath, I know there is a whole lot of gloom about dying, but if we had another life? Like the renegades from WoW, or the corpsebride? I personally have a big fascination about undeath that some might share, but it's not for all tastes :P

 

What do you mean about getting over with it? This post doesn't suggest the world will end, personally I don't believe all the apocalypsist mumbo jumbo, we survived 2012 3 times over :P and we survived previous prophecies that religious people said, so suck it Christiaaaaans! (?) But anyway, this is just a place to share what people would like to hear if the world ends. We're not discussing the end of the world, we're living our ideal apocalypse through music.

I know the posts and thread aren't there to suggest the world will end, but about the ideal soundtrack if it would ;)

 

Was just saying that I wouldn't mind if it did right now and it could be rather sooner than later :P
