Female NPC's cause CTD

So, I have a few mods installed, and I had my fair share of bugs (lots of CTD's when I first got 'em installed), but I was able to fish around for the solutions for most of 'em on these forums and now it seems fairly stable.

 

There is one issue that persists however, that I can't find anything relevant to; for some reason, only when women (of any race) try to initiate any sex animation, it causes a crash to desktop every time. I mostly avoided it with workarounds (disabling females from initiating sex) because I am mostly interested in the bestiality related stuff anyways, but I still have the nagging urge to fix it and I'm curious if anybody else has any ideas.

 

 

I first noticed it when I was trying the "Animal Mansion" mod and it proved to be an obstacle to me progressing (so I haven't got very far with it), but now I know it's definitely any females that cause the CTD. At first I suspected SoS doing something fishy with females, but I disabled it and the issue persists (again, for any type of SexLab animation), and so I think it must be something to do with simply SexLab or its extensions. It always crashes the second the female finishes undressing.

 

I also messed around with all the different gender-related options I could find with SexLab in the menus (e.g. "Nude Suits," disabling strap-ons), but I still got nothing. I don't know how any of the logs work (or where they are) or what Papyrus really is or does, so I don't really know where to go from here.

do you have sexlab ? its the core for sex mods sex mods cant function without it if you dont have it that might be the cause or your missing the animation files from your animation list

Yes, I have SexLab.

 

You can see it in the list of add-ons I included (early in the order), as well as some of its extensions, and of course, male animations work perfectly fine. Only the female animations cause a CTD.

 

And yes, I have SexLab, and I made sure when I installed all of my mods to first install all of their requirements, such as the ZaZ animation pack (which is also shown in there).

 

 

EDIT: I guess it's possible that maybe I'm missing some animations, but considering it seems to happen regardless of what animation involving the female is chosen, it would have to be several missing animations. And I don't know exactly how to see what I would be missing, nor do I know how I would be missing it in the first place, since I haven't messed with that.

If it crashes when females disrobe then it's most likely a skeleton issue. If you use NMM or manually install mods then you probably just need to reinstall the custom skeleton. More than likely something overwrote part of the skeleton, since that's almost always what causes crashes while undressing.

Hmmm. Well, maybe that could be it. I don't know what mod could be making a custom skeleton for the female and causing problems though - I mean, I have a custom race mod that seems to work fine, SoS works okay, and even creature modifications work fine, but regular female NPC's - which are like, practically the only thing there shouldn't be any extra skeleton overriding for - are breaking.

 

I thought maybe it could be something FNIS-related, because I did have a couple of those options ticked that had to do with the skeleton arm and gender-specific animations, but nope, the issue is the same regardless of whether they're ticked.
