Faewyn Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Hello I thought I'd post here because I don't think my chances of getting help on the Nexus is very high. Basically I have a problem with A Tweaked ENB, the problem is my characters hands are see through in first person view. I have the latest OBSE version and I tried installing Enhanced First Person view as suggested unfortunately this did not resolve the issue. I made sure to use the proper shadow settings shown on the Nexus page and turned of AA in game and made sure it's off in Nvidia control panel. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problem. The ENB appears to work completely fine otherwise, it's just the transparent hands which is a problem. Thanks for any help/suggestions.
Faewyn Posted December 17, 2014 Author Posted December 17, 2014 Thanks for the help, how could I check if SSAO or SSIL is enabled or disabled? There isn't an SSAO/SSIL option in Oblivion's menu or Nvidia Control Panel.
Killing Joke Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 In your enbseries.ini, you probably have a EnableAmbientOcclusion line set to true, replace by false.
Faewyn Posted December 17, 2014 Author Posted December 17, 2014 Thank you!!! Fixed my problem! Greatly appreciate it
Anatriax Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 In your enbseries.ini, you probably have a EnableAmbientOcclusion line set to true, replace by false. I, too, have this problem. Turning off AO doesn't work, though... and I get lots of flickering indoors. Vanilla textures indoors flicker like crazy and character (PC and NPC) faces are transparent, as well.
movomo Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 1st person hand seethrough problem? Isn't ATE's download page stating that you need OBGE dll to solve that issue?
Anatriax Posted May 15, 2015 Posted May 15, 2015 First person hand transparency is fixed by turning off AO. This is my problem. I remove ENB entirely? It's gone. I install ENB? It's back.
Anatriax Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 I found my culprit. It was Steam Overlay. Found the fix while trying to fix transparency bugs for Fallout 3 and New Vegas.
Unjust Murder Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 I found my culprit. It was Steam Overlay. Found the fix while trying to fix transparency bugs for Fallout 3 and New Vegas. But, if I disable this option isn't it said that OBSE won't work? at least that's what it says in the readme. because I have this exact same issue and its only indoors. so any help? EDIT: Just tried. everything seemed to be okay, no error messages... But why put that in the readme if it's a false claim?

Steam has to be active, if you have the Steam version, and it has to be launched through Steam (with all of the valid arguments if you're using MO such as myself). Never have I seen anything anywhere saying that the overlay has to be active. MOST places tell you to turn it off for performance reasons.
