DorkDiva Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 So at work, first part of the night went on by. First break started, so I went and got my tea and took my usual spot at the break table with my other co workers. I was enjoying the quiet moment very much, for once it was pretty calm. Then out of nowhere the newest of the bunch took it upon himself to play "shrink" and he began to question not just my tattoos, not just my (unknown to myself, lol) constant state of depression, but what ever faith, belief, motivation... ect, ect. Needless to say that gets very annoying. The tool knows absolutely nothing about me. So it's tiresome. This has been going on for over a week now. With my job being chaos right now, my mother and father very ill, and my best friend on his way out of this world, I am simply not in the mood for this. After trying not to laugh, I thought it might be fun to just play along. Regarding the tattoos, instead of him saying he is offended, he made it some religious diatribe. So after 4 minutes of not getting the answers he was so desperate to hear, he actually asked me what I was thinking about right then and there. So I replied " I was just thinking about what you would look like without your arms and legs". Hey, I was just being honest. The look on his face, you would have thought I just pissed into his ear or something. Now maybe he will just keep quiet and leave me be. It was worth it just for his expression, it was priceless. I have no idea why I shared this.
fizzybutt Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 You know, people like that are just freakin' everywhere. I don't understand what it is about drama-llamas. They're not happy unless they're pissing someone off.

They're not happy unless they're pissing someone off. I know, but as common as it is, it is irritating on every and all instances of it. And I really did picture him in my mind without his arms and legs, rolling around with a pine cone in his mouth for some reason. Very strange I know.
fizzybutt Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 I totally agree with you. I'm a non-conflict kind of person and being around those types is anxiety inducing. Your post definitely gave me a laugh. This is what I think of when around these types of people. (You know, the 'always analyzing and one upping anything you ever say or ever experienced)
DorkDiva Posted December 10, 2014 Author Posted December 10, 2014 Lol, thats a good one! I had that song from public image lmtd in my head, " this is what you want....this is what you get... I totally agree with you. What sucks is that I have to work around that idiot, makes my skin crawl and at the end of the work night I wash my hands thoroughly because the constant being analyzed and questioned just makes me feel dirty or violated I guess.
fizzybutt Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 If he's doing it all the time, then have HR deal with his punkass. If he's always doing it and it makes you feel like that; (hell the fact that it makes you feel like that at all) suggests harassment. Hopefully he got it through his head you don't scare too easily with his lame tactics. People like that are worse than total assholes because they 'pretend to be concerned' when all they want is the most juicy tidbit of information, or wait for you to say something slightly off so they can twist it to their little game of lies.

I got a call from work a bit ago, and I have some meeting to go to. Apparently he got so bothered by my response he went up front and cried about it to the HR girl. This could be fun, because I am spilling the beans on how long all this has been going on.
fizzybutt Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Couple hours late but good luck. Hopefully you have a couple coworkers who have witnessed it going on that can back you up. Since he went first it's going to be a little tough.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Best of luck. In my experience, Human Resources, despite the "Human" in their name, can be very in-human at times. I hope things work out for you.
Nemheshein Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 " I was just thinking about what you would look like without your arms and legs" Oooh, nicely said. DorkDiva Posted December 11, 2014 Author Posted December 11, 2014 Interesting meeting today. Now there is a new pamphlet in the making highlighting all things harassment. And a division meeting regarding such things.
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 always amusing to see one man's fuckery make the world a better place.
