Grey skin bug

I've been having an issue lately where the skin of NPCs (only NPCs, not the player) appears greyish. A friend said it might be part of a bug with creation kit, and told me to test by setting their weight to something else. After doing so, their faces become the correct color but their bodies do not. I've looked up this issue, but I haven't found any solutions before. Help and advice is much appreciated. 

I have a modwatch profile set up for mod list and load order available on modwatch's site for the username FlamingCheeseball (Can't post links.)

I have also attatched pictures of the issue. (The bug isn't too noticeable in the pictures as they are in the shade, but the color difference is still rather apparent.)

i have this problem as well but only after i installed interesting npcs and npc overhaul. only about 10 % of the npcs i meet get this. i just chalk it up to oh well.

I happen to have interesting NPCs as well, however to my knowledge it doesn't edit vanilla NPCs. I'll try deactivating it.

I tried deactivating interesting NPCs and I still had the issue. :/

yeah , interesting npcs is a vanilla type mod the problem wont be there.for me most likely will be the npc overhaul that changes all kids of npcs looks . I realy have no idea what would cause this to happen ,and have just shrugged my shoulders and deal with it..... but if some body actually does know how to fix it i have cookies!
