igora Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 hello everyone, i started playing Skyrim again, but no matter what i do, my vanilla textures are always on low ( seems like it from the quality they are.. they hurt my eyes !), did I forget to change a setting somewhere? thanks, regards
Dubhorizon Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Vanilla textures are low. That's why there are the official highres packs and so many other modder packs as well (recommended). You could try one of these, starting by 1k resolution variants. If their quality is too much, use texture optimizer to optimize them. If you are looking for how to tweak the inis, MO has it's own skyrim and skyrimprefs.ini, look for the puzzle icon>ini editor.
igora Posted December 7, 2014 Author Posted December 7, 2014 here are some screens shots to show you ... something is terribly wrong !
ZorinBlitz Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 You should run skyrim luncher through MO. If you run it just from skyrim folder than run game by MO, you wont get texture or other changes. I think this can help. (sorry for my bad english)
igora Posted December 7, 2014 Author Posted December 7, 2014 yep ! that did the trick ! launched the launcher with MO, told him to load ultra quality, and VOILA ! problem solved ! thanks mate !
nautica187 Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Wow, havn't seen a vanilla map in years lol. lovely =)
