Kaffe01
I wonder, would it be possible to take the wooden longbow in skyrim, and use a mod bow's texture to replace it? Or any other original skyrim bow for that matter. And if so, how? Been playing Skyrim with perkus maximus so simply adding the mod weapon doesnt really cut it, its simply not balanced and perkus maximus changes how bows work in general so.... Yeah Link to comment
lynnblue
In theory you could just drop the meshes and textures into their respective directories inside the data folder... I don't know what those are specifically, something like Data/meshes/weapons/(something related the wooden bow). Should be similar for textures. Just drop the NIF files into the meshes and DDS files into the textures. Make sure you rename them to whatever the files of the wooden bow are called. Link to comment
yatol
-download a bsa extractor -open the nif to be sure it's the right one -rename nif of the replacer and copy paste it to that path -done   another way is to open skyrim.esm in tesedit and edit the mesh path of the bow (if you can find it) Link to comment
