TheTraveler Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 So i biought a new computer. Installed skyrim and moved my Data folder over to the new pc. Everything was working,, Had to uncheck all the esps I wasn't using. Not a problem, everything was working. All of a sudden I load up my game today and the hand textures on my females are all Different from teh body textures. What gives? Why would it just stop working when it WAS working? Tired copying the new ones over and they copy fine but nothing is working. Reinstalled racemenu, nada. This goes for NPCs as well. Their hands are WAY brighter and not the same textures . I use Real girls textures.
Epic Gamer Frey Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Reinstall the textures and take a screenshot. Do you use Mod Organizer, Nexus Mod Manager or something else to install mods?

Mewwt Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 You should clean the rest of the body. Maybe it's just dirt. Serious answer: maybe you forgot to remove a "better hand" stuff. The hands look like the "better hand mesh for unp" mod.

Herrmannesque Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 The reason I ask is because I briefly installed this follower mod and ran into the exact same problem. When I looked at the posts, this is what I saw... 'after examining the esp on tesedit I can see issues...you have replaced the *naked hands* armor addon from vaniila skyrim esm with the followers hands...so of course that makes any npc in game who uses the base body have mis-matching hands...cus they using mods instead.' After I removed this mod, the problem went away instantly. It should also be noted that someone on this page fixed the esp and shared it but I have not tried out his esp myself. This follower uses 4K textures and as pretty as she is, I don't feel like putting my card through that unnecessary stress.
