Fredas Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 How would you go about accomplishing that? I like the face created for Veronica in said mod - in fact I think it's probably about the best makeover I've seen for her. But feel that the other faces break canon too severely. (And I'd want to re-implement the hood even after borrowing Veronica's new face.) Not sure what steps would need to be taken in order to single out and use the one face. Truthfully, there are probably many cases where I'd prefer to keep the changes implemented by New Vegas Redesigned, but I'm thinking the mod isn't really set up so one can cherry pick the ones they like. If I'm wrong about that, great! If not, I'll keep my focus on Veronica.
Odessa Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Never looked at it, but I think the .esp/.esm may just overwrite the NPC records. If so, make a backup of it. Then download FNVEdit and open the .esp/m with it. Expand redesigned, not FalloutNV.esm- never edit that one. You should see a heading 'Non Player Characters'. Delete the ones you don't want and save it.
shardoom Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Doesn't the redesigned mod come with edited headmeshes? If they do then you'd need to create a unique race for V, rip the headmeshes out of NVR, point the new race at the new meshes and use the facegen data from redesigned in order to 'just' get the NVR 'V' face. Not that difficult really. Certainly a lot simpler than my sentence would make it seem. Couldn't think of a simpler way to describe it though.
