AI changing mods + combat changes

I recently installed PerMa and Deadly Dragons (with Deadly Beasts), covering perks and difficulty. I'm now looking for a mod (or mods) to change the enemy's AI and combat. Until now, I've been using ACE, to make hitting from a side or behind an enemy give you some bonuses, or make enemies use spells/items more wisely (not shooting meteors or teleporting around like in revenge of the enemies, I'm not looking for a difficulty mod).

 

I'd appreciate your oppinions!

Thank you! Now I only need a combat changing mod, like I already explained. Of course, I can always go back to ACE, but any other alternative is very welcome.

Is my preferred combo. Evolved does a better job making enemies prioritize power attacks and blocks over Erkiels AI.

 

Combat mods is hard to really say. There are 4 notables outside of total overhauls like Requiem, and all of them get certain parts better than others. Duke Patricks Combat Overhaul does a great job of "Real" combat, but its also equal parts boring/frustrating for most, Dual is all about staggering, Deadly is more time blocks (pretty similar to SkyRe in a number of ways) and I personally use Ultimate because of its less robust and FAR less buggy locational damage mechanic. I recommend you play through each of them and figure out which is the best for you.

 

I would recommend you uninstall Deadly Beasts, and instead install Skyrim Immersive Creatures (they are compatible, but they shouldn't be needed) along with Revenge of the Enemies (with SIC patch) and High Level Enemies SIC Edition (get it from the SIC website). SIC adds a ton of new creatures, with MCM support to turn on/off what you want and adjust their own difficulty. Revenge of the Enemies makes bosses/unique mobs feel like actual bosses. High Level Enemies keeps enemies scaling effectively so you still have a challenge past level 30.
