Animations don't play after upgrading to newer core/data

Something something "You picked a classic animation but made an NG call. Please use an NG animation for 0 anim."

Seems like SexoutNG isn't backwards compatible with older mods. So, does anyone know which is the latest Sexout version that won't break older mods, and can link me to the download?

That has nothing to do with backwards compatibility, that's a broken mod. The error means exactly what it says.

The mod made an NG call (using the SexoutNG quest vars) but an anim # from sexout pre-NG.

Post details on which mod caused the error. Maybe there's a fixed version of that mod, or a replacement for it.

It's an old version of BrutalRapers. I would prefer not to update to a newer version of that mod since it worked perfectly fine before I updated Sexout.

Where can I download the latest "pre-NG" version of Sexout?

Edit: Or, how can I manually change the animation call so SexoutNG will interpret it properly? I'm familiar with FNV modding, just not Sexout itself.

No clue. If you dig around the really old posts many pages back in the sexout main forum, you might find the old download from 2011 or so. I doubt it's still around.

As I said though, the mod causing the error is not a pre-NG mod.. It's making an NG call, resulting in an NG error. A pre-NG sexout would probably just CTD.

Search through it for any "set Sexout.Anim to ..." and just delete any such lines from all scripts. That should get it using the random picker. Then be prepared for a bunch of other problems related to using such an old mod.
