Can it be ture? Main heap problem

First time I set mainheap to 1024MB then I enter one AWOP's dungeon , game crash "Out of Memory"

Then I crash 3 times when I search enemy body or metalbox

So I change main heap to 1280MB and it's works, I kill all dungeon's monters without CTD

So....can it be true? Main heap can set over 1024MB?

 

I find my game run more stable

It could be defaulting to a different value.

 

You aren't meant to go over 400MB-450MB for New Vegas.

 

I take a experment, I switch main heap to 450MB-> Fast Travel to Nipton (I use over 180 mods and Nipton Rebulit) = Endless Loading

 

Switch to 2048MB -> I  can't even  run nvse

 

but switch to 1536MB-> It's all clear , load very fast without endless loading and CTD

 

It's so strange....

The engine can only handle 129 plugins.  At that point it assigns the memory addresses of the first loaded mods to additional mods.

 

I know :)

Everytime I into the game then pop a message "detect ur game have over 139 mods....."

 

Actually, this is my 3rd run.

Last run I set main heap to 768MB and amostly no CTD/red diamond problem. I used 18X plugins and FNVedit to create a merge patch

And I finsh all oringal quest (main+all dlc)

 

And this run I install 200+ plugins (use wyre flash to create bash patch and reduce to 18X )

I find 768MB is not enougth for this run so I increase main heap to 1024 then 1280  and finally 1536...
